Bridgeport IPA into pint
I prefer this beer with the yeast in the glass, so the pour is murky
orange with a one finger light beige head that leaves attractive
Nose is dominated by sweet citrus and tangerine. Also hints at herbs,
earth, and bitter pine resin. Some cracker and bready-yeasty notes. A
touch of hop spice. A bit of faint caramel.
Grassy and earthy is how this hop forward beer starts off, then wanes
into bright orange rind and tangerine notes, followed by herbs and a
bitter pine resiny fade. A really faint sweetness that is hard to
distinguish. Classic and rustic.
A slick medium body with a low level carbonation that is almost creamy.
I absolutely love this beer with a thick cheddar-bacon burger. Also
great drinking all by itself. This IPA is underated and because its
not way over the top. This is my session IPA.
