Appearance is a hazy brown supporting a thin dissipating head leaving. Smell and taste has the pumpkin spice, but don't know if there is any real pumpkin in there with a good dose of hops. Mouthfeel is medium with good carbonation. Seems to be more like a spice harvest IPA.

A-Somewhat murky copper color with a very small head.

S-Cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice and what seemed like orange peel. A bit too strong to be balanced. No discernible hops.

T-Bitter up front but I can't tell if it is from bittering hops or an overdose of spice. It quickly resolves to a medicinal twang leaving a strange aftertaste.

M-Nothing remarkable, ok for the style with appropriate carbonation.

O-Poor mix of spices plus the upfront bitterness had me ready to pour this out. It did not improve as time went on.

12 oz bottle poured into goblet.

A - Dark burnt orange, very cloudy, with a finger of creamy light brown head.

S - Sweet aroma with a good amount of cinnamon spice and toasted bread.

T - Lots of caramel and cinnamon, along with a bit of nutmeg, toasted bread, and allspice. It's fairly well balanced, more sweet than bitter.

M - Thin-to-moderate body, somewhat sticky but creamy, with low-to-moderate carbonation. It's more easy-drinking than I expected it would be.

O - When I bought this I was under the impression it was a pumpkin/spiced beer, but I think it works well without pumpkin. The caramel and cinnamon mesh well together, and it's definitely a good easy beer for the fall.

I made the mistake of buying a 6 pack of this wretched witch's brew instead of a single bottle. I don't know what led me to believe this would be good enough to drink six of them. This is almost a pumpkin beer, but is too lazy and thin to be a good pumpkin beer, so it is just a "spiced harvest ale".

This beer pours a clear, amber color with minimal head lacing.

The smell is a mixture of tecate and bad spice pairings.

The taste is similar to the smell, and the mouthfeel is very thin and is finished with an unsavory bitter aftertaste.

Overall, this is a watery offering of a foul mixture of spice and misfortune, perfect for the halloween season as a trick, but definately not as a treat.

A - Pours a deep, dark amber with a thick tan head. Really nice looking beer

S - Roasted malts, honey, maybe some apples

T - Roasted, but sweet malts with a bit of nutmeg, flowing into herby bitter hops and sour apples that linger on the tongue. Bottles says there's cinnamon flavours as well, but I'm not really picking up on that one.

M - Smooth, lightly bubbly

O - Nice autumn beer, with the roast and caramel flavours, apples, and spices. I feel like it pretty decently embodies the name of spiced harvest ale. I wish the spices came through a bit better, and maybe the sourness toned down a bit. But overall I enjoyed it.

Appearance - Auburn in color. One finger-width head and the retention was good.

Smell - Has a nice cinnamon/nutmeg smell upfront with caramel malts.

Taste - The malts did not really shine through the way I expected, and there was the bitterness from the hops at the end (not bad). I don't feel that the spices mixed well with the bitterness.

Mouthfeel - It was kind of thin, and again, not bad, but it could have been thicker with more of a full mouthfeel.

Overall - I liked the beer, but I don't believe I would search for it to purchase again.
