So this will be a bit of an unusual review in that I didn't visit, I actually had my wedding reception here in August. Other than The Big Day Itself, i have probably been there a dozen times through the past 5 years.
Atmosphere- Very large street-side deck, tons of tables on the main level with views of the bakery area and production rooms, second level is more focused around high-tops and TV screens. The banquet room that we used was all exposed timber and arched windows; totally picturesque. As with most Portland brewpubs, it is very low on both formality and snobbishness.
Quality-Above average. We were able to have the stout on nitro tap and a cask, which was dope. They do a fresh hop ale annually which is also dope.
Service-Generally awesome. Normal service is attentive but not overbearing. Staff was super knowledgeable about the beverages and food that they serve. For the event they indulged our every whim without question or hesitation and were super-competent and patient.
Food-A game of two halves. Their normal menu if down-the-middle pub food, or the normal burgers, fries, and salads denomination. Great beaked goods, particularly the pretzels. For the wedding reception the food was fantastic. We had salmon and a mushroom chicken item, both of which were great. They had a hazelnut blackberry salad that everyone loved and which was about as Oregon as you can get.
Value-Pretty good. Stupid cheap happy hour ($3 pints if memory serves). We fed 90ish people at $40 a head plus $12 a person in booze, which worked to 2-2.5 alcoholic drinks a piece. We had set a higher drink limit which we did not hit.

Our first stop in Portland and a brewery that actually makes it to MKE. We walked in on a sunny day and had our choice of where to sit. With two floors and a patio we opted for the upstairs since the heat was catching up to us.
The decor was pretty straight forward, brick and glass building with metal stair case in the center and ivy on the outside - nothing giving it too much character inside, but it was alright. When we sat down our waiter came up quickly with a few menus we needed a minute to peruse the lineup - I was slightly disappointed about not seeing anything unique or different on the menu from what I've found in bottles, however they did have a bomber of Raspberry Tart that sounded refreshing at the moment so we went with that. subtle tartness with a strong raspberry sweetness and light body.
The BBQ pork sandwich was excellent - so much so I had to inquire about the BBQ Sauce and whether they sold it, unfortunately they didn't, however our awesome waiter brought me 2 containers of the IPA BBQ - dope!
While the beer didn't blow me away it did have great service and food. A good spot to hit for dinner, but wouldn't be my first choice if beer is what you are after.

Stopped in for lunch on a Wednesday. Nice, upscale brewpub, very pleasant outside patio area. The beer is good but not memorable, especially for the area. Service was a bit incompetent, but that's just one waitresss, doubt it was representative. The beer selection was a bit disappointing, nothing very interesting. The food was also a weak spot, not bad but not up to the level of everything else I encountered in Portland.

BridgePort is an average brewery. Nothing stood out as far as food and beer selection. Atmosphere was fine and was good to bring kids.

Better than average food selection for a brewpub. In general their beers are not my favorite but are almost all pretty good. The space is decent and they have a nice outdoor patio that's open in the summer. They typically have an in-house special on 6-packs to go (often $5 for one variety) that can be a great deal. I'd like to see them stretch out a bit with the beer styles.

My friends and I stopped in at Bridgeport Brewpub for dinner and some beers after a day of hard work attending Oregon Brewers Fest in downtown Portland. We sat in the mezzanine section which has a neat feel to it, as the interior walls are the erstwhile exterior walls of the neighboring building. Décor was a standard, modern, clean brewpub look.
The beer selection was decent, but most of their offerings were the brews that they sell in bottles. The beer was tasty enough, but it would have been fun to try something more exotic. I went with the cherry chocolate stout which really hit the spot for me.
Service was friendly and knowledgeable enough about the beers, though they seemed understaffed so it was a bit slow. The food is quite good indeed, though; I had the pot roast sandwich and was quite pleased, and my brother had the shepherd's pie which was likewise better than we were expecting.
If it were located in almost any other city, I would definitely revisit Bridgeport. However, with the approximately one billion other excellent brewpubs in Portland, I probably won't prioritize another visit here on my next trip down.
