Very enjoyable beer. My friends brother and cousin created the recipe and won a brewing competition with it. The prize included having it brewed and sold at local bars. Very good for a couple of homebrewers I think! Overall a very good example of an American IPA. Good balance of hops and malt. Hoping to get some of this again!

Pours a slightly murky amber golden color with an antique white head. The bouquet is perfume and inviting with aromas of lemon and orange citrus. Mouthfeel is full and soft on the front end. It dries out a bit at the finish. A nice carbonation presnce offers balance to the overall moutfheel. There's an oniony quality that seems to dominate. Some lemony notes appear toward the end and lingers beyond the finish. There's some hop hotness that won't allow you to forget this is an IPA. In fact, this is nearing a DIPA. I think the whole beer has nice balance and complexity.
