Tap@Six Rivers. Pretty pale, lemony and piney, but quite short and thin, it was pretty easy to drink though, which is a plus. Light. Not my favourite American Pale Ale it has to be said, not enough body/flavour/length of flavour. Little more body, and it could have been quite nice.

Pours out a dark amber color, not much in the way of head, lace, retention. Aroma was a little citrus, on the orange side.

Taste, seems like they are going for the SNPA thing here, not bad, but they tend to go at lengths keeping the malt bill up and failing to get the trademark Cascade hoppiness thing down. Orangey feel to it at times.

Easy enough to drink, keeps bitterness down, but doesn't appear to have much, if any dry hopping going for it.

A beer worth having around when you don't want someone breaking into your good stash.

Another one from Tyler after recent trip to PDX. Poured a cloudy gold-amber color with just a thin cap of white head that had no retention or lacing.

The aroma was fairly evenly balanced between malt and hops, with the malt being slightly bolder and the hops adding a piney finish. On the tongue, the hops had a stronger presence and had a bit citrus to with the pine.

The body was pretty typical for the style, as was drinkability. Overall, a pretty much average example of the style. If it were local to me, I'd probably have one on a semi-regular basis.

From notes:

Look: a mild brown, a few bubbles coming toward the top, little head
Smell: light hops, buttery
Taste: a grassy hop taste, not harsh, slight bitter, flows easily
Drink: small bubbles, easy throat taste to it

Lighter in flavor, and abv than the IPA but a bit better brew.

Cloudy amber with a modest off-white head. Fair amount of lacings.

Aroma of piney hops.

Taste is bitter sour lemon, dirt, some bitter hops. Some malt in the background.

This tasted unlike any Pale Ale I've ever had. It was almost a chore to finish the 12 ounce bottle. I think the beer must have been old or not well kept.

Tasted at Hops in Humboldt 2007 in a four ounce glass. This was a clear amber color with a medium white head and moderate lacing. Nose of light malts and floral hops. Medium mouthfeel. Flavor of malts and hops in good balance. Nothing fancy but very easy to drink.
