Being from Michigan, we have an abundance of Canadian beers such as Molson... so when I go out to a random sports bar or friday's type of restaraunt, they normally have at least one or two brews from our neighbors to the north.
Enter Molson. It's not the best beer in terms of taste, but it puts a lot of the American macrobrews to shame. I definitely don't mind knocking them back at a Tigers game.
It pours a bright... orangey yellow with a quickly fading head. Tastes sweet and grainy with a very quick hint of bitterness. Doesn't smell horrible, again mostly grainy. High carbonation and easy finish make it fine for a lawnmower/ballgame beer, but nothing more. They're easy to pound a few back.
By no means a favorite, Molson does the trick by providing cheap beer with DECENT taste in a market saturated with cheap beer with no taste.
