I had this at at lunch at The Wing Zone in Springfield.

A - Pale golden yellow with a small white head of fizzy bubbles. Head disappears quickly, and leaves almost no lace behind.

S - Smells sort of like old cereal that has been in the pantry for a few years and smells pretty good, but old. Like aged Golden Grahams or Honeycombs cereal. Not very assertive, but it sure doesn't smell bad.

T - Fruity strawberry and apricot notes over a honey and cereal base. This is really good! It's not complex or assertive, but thats not to be expected given the style.

M - Medium bodied (one of the weightiest macro lagers that I've had), moderately carbonated, and neutral at the finish.

D - This is an easy drinking lager that just may be the best basic macro lager that I've ever had. It's not outstanding, but it's definitely drinkable and pleasant going down.

Of all mass produced pale lagers out there this one is one of the best (not saying much)out there.Pours a straw color with adecent little head that even leaves some lacing.Aroma has a sweetish tinge to it,taste has a decent malt accent to it pretty firm, there is a light sweet flavor. You know this isnt a incredibly bad beer when I dont have alot of money or want a case from my father-in-law I get Molson Canadian.

Tap: Poured alight yellow color ale with a small head with no retention. Aroma is quite weak with some malt being discernable. Taste is very smooth with no aftertaste (almost no hops) and watery feeling at the end. While it is in no way good it is not as worst as some other macro beer out there and this one probably benefited from the CO2 from the tap.

the original that was picked up at publix today in the single section on the way home. served cold and poured into a pint glass, consumed on 08/24/2010.

a pale yellow with no head to speak of what so ever, really just a clear, over carbonated mess of a look for me. but a trudge on. weak grains, touches of light corn and bready notes abound here, again not that i was expecting a ton of wonderful flavor here, but it could have been more then the wet cardboard that i got. clean and crisp, light feel worked for the style and it went down smooth and easy,

overall i think it was ok, compared to my last beer of the night, but do not think i will be doing this one again.

A: The beer is crystal clear yellow in color and has a moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a finger high white head that gradually died down, leaving a thin head covering the surface and lots of lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Light aromas of corn flakes are present in the nose along with slight hints of floral hops.
T: Similar to the smell, the taste has flavors of corn and rice, although these adjunct malts aren't as prominent compared to other beers in the style. A slight amount of bitterness is present along with associated hints of floral hops.
M: It feels light-bodied, somewhat watery and a little clean on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: Although this beer isn't that flavorful, it's definitely very easy to drink and goes down easily.

Served in a Lagunitas mason jar.

O Canada...and so on and so forth... Anyway, this stuff pours a clear straw topped by a finger of relatively short-lived lightly off-white foam. The nose comprises mild wheat and a tiny bit of sweet biscuit. The taste brings in more of the same, with the sweetness really taking control of the proceedings. A light bit of macro funk spews forth every now and again to remind you of who made this stuff. (I wanna know what they do/use to create that character...) The body is pretty light, with a light moderate carbonation and a watery feel. Overall, a fairly meek little beer, but one of the better, more tolerable adjunct lagers out there.

Pretty standard Lager. Enjoyed at the Detroit Airport. All beers taste pretty good when you are trying to cure boredom while waiting in an airport. This beer begins with a very solid pilsner malt base-grain that shows more light maltiness than grain flavors. Quite sweet and bready, but still with a cleansing carbonation and smooth mouthfeel. Perhaps a bit buttery in flavor and texture with a mild skunk-hoppiness that subsided. Earthy spices from the hops late helps to round out the sweetness and adds character. A good beer for chasing a Pizza.

Appearance – Clear light yellow in color with some active carbonation but not much in the way of a head. It did what all the macros do: flared up wildly then went down in two seconds.

Smell – No skunk, just the traditional grain nose that is actually quite sharp in this Canadian macro.

Taste – The grain here is pretty good; certainly more to my liking than a regular Bud or Miller. The finish is sweet and kind of lame, but overall this one has a nice flavor profile.

Mouthfeel – This is much smoother that a standard American macro, starting things off with the fuzzy carbonation followed by a crisp dryness.

Drinkability – Better than I had hoped. I could almost consider this “pretty good,” and definitely worth a second look if I’m slumming it at a macro-only bar that doesn’t have Guinness.

Appearance - Clear and yellowish appearance. Pours thin head that disappears very quickly.

Aroma - Sweet and malty smell. Not much else. Nice for what it is though.

Mouthfeel - Prickly feel right away from the relatively strong carbonation. Leaves a little sticky feeling. Smooth though, very drinkable.

Flavor - Sweet, malty taste with hints of corn. Metallic aftertaste with a hint of sweetness.

Overall - Honestly it is what it is. It doesn't taste great but it'll get you there. I call this and beers like it 45's after the old Colt 45 slogan "Works every time". It has a high enough ABV and is cheap enough that it will do its job without tasting like Keystone or god forbid Natural Light. So it's good for what it is, but if you actually want to drink beer for beers sake it really isn't worth it.

Presentation: poured from a 12oz can into a pint glass.

Appearance: It has a light golden yellow or straw color with wonderful clarity. The head is big and fizzy with a white color.

Smell: The aroma is light and grainy. Corn adjunct cereal grains with some light grassy hops.

Taste/Mouth feel: Its favor is just as you would expect from the aroma. It starts off with a mildly sweet grainy taste that is very crisp. The hops add a light grassy flavor and a mild bitterness that leads into the finish that is quick and clean. There is plenty of carbonation that gives it a lively palate and a light to medium body.

Notes: This is a great beer to pair with hockey eh.

Served in an 8.50 pitcher at a local top-40 bar with some work buddies - after the local smoking ban, so I didn't feel like I would skew the review. Poured a pale, non-commital pissy yellow.

Smells like veggies. Boiled cabbage. Maybe a hop hiding in there.

Mouthfeel - water, fizzy.

Taste - Ew. Adjuncts. Rice. Veggies. Anything they can fit in to make this pass as a beer and to make it as cheap as possible. Maybe ok if served on a really hot day in a frosted mug, but THAT'S IT.

The only reason I drank this was to re-affirm my reasons for moving to craft brews.

Presentation: 24 oz tall boy (can), with no freshness date. Boasts Canadian brewed and states that they are the oldest brewery in North America.

Appearance: Bright yellow hue with a tint of orange, lace sticks in the beginning.

Smell: Clean grainy aroma, faint cooked corn as well.

Taste: Wide lager crispness, ample carbonation with a light to moderate body. Clean grain with some husk on the side and a faint astringent quality to it. Hops are light with a flash of bitterness, then it is back to the light grainy sweetness that dons a touch of adjunct cooked veggie flavour. The graininess is quite refreshing and seems to be the forefront of flavour. Finishes clean and dry with soft malt in the back.

Notes: Better than Bud, Miller or Coors. Nothing spectacular though it is an all around good lager that quenches the thirst. A definite brew to pair with pepperoni pizza.

12 ounce bottle, pours lame yellow and clear, medium sized bubbles. Corn aroma. Faint malt noticed, very minimal hops detected. lawn mower brew at best, this stuff is a waste of good water. Amazing to think that back in the day, this swill was considered " the good stuff"
