250 mL can from a 4-pack picked up at the LCBO; served ice cold. I've had this many times over the years, though not nearly as frequently as standard-issue, run-of-the-mill Canadian. I guess today is the day where I finally become bored/alcoholic enough to drink a can alone so that I can review it?
Pours a familiar pale yellow colour, topped with a half-finger of fizzy, bone-white head that quickly evaporates. A few scattered strands of lacing remain. I can't really blame them for not putting effort into making this look good; normal people who are not giant dorks just drink this from the can, anyway. The aroma is pretty neutral, and I can't really think of any descriptors to use here other than vaguely corny and sweet. At least it's too mild to be off-putting.
Fortunately, the same notion applies to the flavour. While this lager offers nothing outside of the usual, bland adjunct lager tropes - notes of corn husk, boiled vegetables, grainy malts and cardboard - these features are present in surprisingly well-balanced proportions. While I would not describe the flavour as appealing, it manages to avoid my main gripes with this sort of beer: syrupy sweetness, ethanol heat, and even the off-flavours are kept to a minimum. Light-bodied and watery, with restrained carbonation compared to most adjunct lagers, offering only a slight bite. Very easy to drink quickly, so mission accomplished I guess - that was probably the only objective to begin with.
Final Grade: 2.91, a C grade. For a 6.0% macro lager intended primarily for irresponsibly rapid consumption, these Molson Cold Shots honestly aren't that bad. No, they don't taste great, and yes, if push came to shove there are plenty of domestic pale lagers I'd pick long before this one (forgetting about imports and craft stuff entirely). But four of these cans will give you a good buzz for a very low price, and you don't even need to worry about gagging on anything - perhaps except the shrivelled remnants of your pride.

Poured in a pint.
Appearance: gold plain and simple...1/4" white head.
Smell: light light hops.
Taste: dry hops, alcohol is pretty evident.
Mouth: medium, heavy not much to complain bout in this department.
Overall: fancy looking can, not a fancy beer. Just good enough to pass the time. Don't shy away from it, if you're a lager fan you might like it more than me. Salud.
