Serving Type - 473ml can poured into a pilsner glass.
Appearance - Pours a slightly hazy golden colour, slightly darker than the can it comes from. A medium amount of carbonation is evident, with 2 fingers of fluffy white head on top, though it fades rather quickly. Some moderate lacing is left behind.
Smell - Smells like a pilsner. Some grains and grassy notes. Not bad, but not particularly interesting either.
Taste - Sweet grass and grains are present here as well. There is also, to my pleasant surprise, some hints of lemon here as well. It's incredibly smooth, in that there isn't the typical bitter bite of some other pilsners. Again neither good, nor bad.
Mouthfeel - Medium to light body, medium to hight carbonation with a satisfying and crisp finish.
Overall - 3.25 Decent for a Molson-Coors offering. Perhaps a good suggestion for someone new to beer, or looking to get into pilsners?

Labeled as a German Pilsner, Rickard's Blonde is well... more suited for a Blonde ale rather than a Pilsner. It pours a nice rich golden color, which instantly separates this brew from being a standard Euro Pale Lager; I've been burned by so many Canadian beers being labeled as one beer style (Alexander Keith's IPA anyone?) while it clearly represents the polar opposite.
I can detect some German hop variety in there, but I can not distinguish which one. The flavor is dominated by sweet malty notes, some fruityness and finishes with some bitterness, but not really any major hop flavor. The beer is very thin, borderline watery. This has some of the characteristics of a Blonde Ale and none of a Pilsner.
Not a bad offering, but like Rickard's Dark, this is misclassified. As a Pilsner, it doesn't hold up. As A Blonde Ale, it's not too bad.

Pours a straw gold. Rapid carbonation. Fizzy head blows up then settles fairly quickly. No lacings.
Honey-sweet grain on the nose with noticeable zesty hopping.
Grainy malt has a kind of nice edge to it, certainly didn't see it coming. Hops are less pilsner-grassy than citrussy. Lemon candy sort of lasts through the finish with a surprising bitter finish.
Super-carbonated, as you might expect.
I have a bit of respect for the Rickard's brand, and this is one of their better offerings. Good flavour for what it is.

Appearance: Produced a finger of head that did not lace but did retain fairly well. The body is a golden blond with fairly slow, low carbonation.
Smell: Lots of grain as barley comes first and foremost with a light noble hop backing. Slight lemon and grape notes can also be noticed, and didn't need much warming to come out.
Taste: Crisp and has a certainly roughness to it that makes it appealing. Starts with a great somewhat bumpy barely taste that holds a minor lemon note that shifts well into a mild touch of noble hops.
Mouthfeel: It has a certain roughness that normally I wouldn't like, but this beer pulls it off well. The transistioning is nice and the aftertaste is non-exsistant which isn't a bad thing. Crisp.
Drinkability: It's medium bodied, which is a little suprising. It can certainly be put back well enough, but I wouldn't say it's refreshing, as it seems to finish with a very neutral sensation. No gas issues which is good too.
Final Thoughts: Rickard's is Molson's premium brand, and for the most part just about all of their beers can be said to be "Good for a Macro" and this one is no exception. Give it a shot, but don't expect miracles.
