355ml can. Sometimes a guy just wants an old-school backyard pisser kind of beer, and that time must be now.

This beer pours a clear, bright pale golden yellow colour, with three fingers of puffy, thinly foamy, and yes, sudsy bone white head, which leaves some random splotchy lace around the glass as it quickly blows off.

It smells of sweet creamed corn and rice, um 'malt', natch, an acrid paint thinner alcohol edge, wet metal, and that whole cooked veggies masquerading as hops thing. The taste is pretty sweet, some real barley malt poking its nose in, and seeing all the adjunct bros running this party, promptly hailing a cab home. The unpleasant industrial solvent essence from the nose seems to have thankfully abated, leaving a simpler gas station fume character amongst those hardy over-cooked, skanky vegetables.

The carbonation is quite low, as to be almost absent, the body light in weight, yet averagely dense and cloying in its sugary bearing for such a lager, so 'smooth', I guess, for what it's worth. It finishes sweet, sweet, sweet, and softly boozy, those baddies I've been ragging on having the good sense to keep out of sight for at least a little while.

I can totally see the general, base appeal of this sucker - the first gulp or two are pretty harsh, sure, but then the 'flavour' somehow mellows into the background, especially if you don't think too hard about it. Unfortunately, this here is a thinkin' man's beer site, and neither the affordability nor the palate-numbing flavour of this offering can dull my senses enough to recommend this as anything other than a relic from the woe-begotten ice beer trend of the 1990s.

1.18 L Wide Mouth Bottle poured into a pint glass.

A - Pours a light golden straw color with a puffy head that settles rather quickly.

S - Corn/adjuncts dominate with some hints of malt and hops.

T - Grains with some hop and malt flavor in the background.

M - Good carbonation, very easy to drink and very clean finish.

O - Bought a 40 in Ontario since I collect them. I certainly wouldn't pay Ontario prices if I didn't have to. This is a fine beer for what it is.

Well seeing as I have an overabundance of buck-a-beers in the fridge lately I may as well get to this one now...

A- Surprisingly pours with a thick puffy white head that settles rather quickly, although it retains a thick-ish layer over the brew itself! The color is your typical golden, but is slightly richer than usual, and is crystal clear. Decent sticky lacing clings to my glass and there are several columns of carbonation rising, both big and fine bubbles.

S- Typical musty dry grains, along with adjuncty corn dominate that aroma spectrum. Some moderate malt sweetness is noticeable in the backround as well. The finish is somewhat metallic with some esters of alcohol making it's presence. Still better than nothing I guess.

T- Adjunct laden but at least there is some malt flavoring here, I'm guessing due to some water being skimmed out. There is a little malt sweetness, some metal and some dried out prairie grass/grain. Again, not bad, just not great.

M- Although more flavorful, than usual this is still thin bodied and doesn't amount to much. It is clean and crisp still and the scrubbing action of the carbonation on the palate makes me remember that this is a typical macro lager.

D- Well I have to say Molson has made a beer that I'd pick up again....it's the right price, has some flavor, and makes for a decent beer to enjoy with some friends on the patio. The alcohol ends up being well hidden and just has a little more character than your typical macro!

Average straight across the board, certainly nothing special here, but nothing wrong either..
The product I had today came in a 1.18 litre glass bottle with a 6.1 ABV, a nice fit for a brown paper bag..
Light golden in colour, limited head, fairly well balanced and full bodied..
Acceptable but with reservations..

Pale yellow appearance with a large amount of head. Grainy, corn smell with a hint of sweetness.

Adjunct taste with lots of sweetness. Has a boozy taste to it as well with a hint of corn and metal. Surprisingly light bodied with poor carbonation. Aftertaste is metallic and has a lingering sweetness.

Felt greasy buying this, but overall it's pretty light for borderline malt liquor. It's good for getting drunk for cheap, but it's a little more tolerable then other beers in its class.

--Regular can, no freshness date on can.
--Poured with a big head that left pretty quickly. An average golden in color.
--Smell was of an average strong beer.
The first sip of this beer was not good at all. After the can was finished it became tolerable. but still nothing I would probably drink again. There are better ice beers out there.
Thx

750 ml can, nice for swilling.

Pours a clear golden, big soapy white head forms, some lacing, head disappears fast, pretty typical. I can smell it from here. Really sweet and corny, alcohol, citrus, bread, once again typical of the style. Taste is very sweet, some caramel, citrus, alcohol, corn, bread, metallic finish, pretty weak. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with low to medium carbonation, actually pretty smooth because of the carbonation, decent body too. Not too bad, definately have had worse.

Wish I hadn't. This had one decent taste, the first, after that is was a burden to drink. Another beer that I can cross of the list. I was with some hockey watchers and they had this on ice in cans. Sorry boys, hope it was cheap.
