500ml bottle. This appears to be contract brewed by Marstons PLC of Burton upon Trent, England. Made with Nelson Sauvin and Cascade hops.
This beer pours a clear, super pale straw colour, with three fingers of fizzy, thinly foamy bone-white head, which leaves some rocky hill profile lace around the glass as it slowly and evenly subsides.
It smells of bready, lightly biscuity grainy malt, softly acerbic dry citrus rind, a bit of cat pee taint, and some floral perfume notes. The taste is more muddled grapefruit citrus pith, grainy cereal malt, somewhat dead grassy hops, and a further perfumed floral essence.
The carbonation is a tad edgy, but generally agreeable, the body medium-light in weight, and a little smarmy in its smoothness. It finishes off-dry, the grainy maltiness still contending with a lingering musty citrus hoppiness.
An interesting lager, perhaps one jumping on the bandwagon of these two rockstar hops, but at least doing it with a decently malted underlying pale lager. Could use a fair bit more crispness, but I wouldn't turn down another one of these, given the right environment.

A: Pours a crystal clear light to medium yellow in color with very light amounts of active visible carbonation rising from the bottom of the glass and faint hints of lemon yellow. The beer has a quarter finger tall sudsy white head that quickly reduces to a medium to large patch of very thin film and a very thin ring at the edges of the glass. Minimal amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Light to moderate aromas of bready and biscuit malts with lighter aromas of grassy and floral hops.
T: Upfront there are light to moderate flavors of bready and biscuit malts with just a hint of honey-like sweetness. That is followed by light notes of corn adjuncts and some faint grassy + floral hops which impart a light amount of bitterness which fades pretty quickly.
M: Light bodied with moderate to heavy amounts of carbonation. Crisp.
O: Not really anything special here but I could see this pairing well with Brazilian foods especially the meat - would probably be very refreshing on a really hot day. Easy to drink and sessionable.

500 ml bottle into lager glass; C083 BT1 bottle code. Pours slightly hazy/cloudy golden straw color with a 1 finger dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with some light streaming carbonation. Aromas of grapefruit, orange zest, lemon zest, white grape, cracker, bread, light honey, floral, grass, slight pine, and floral/yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of citrus/floral hops, pale malt, and light earthy yeast notes; with solid strength. Taste of grapefruit, lemon zest, white grape, orange zest, cracker, bread, light honey, floral, grass, slight pine, and floral/yeast earthiness. Slight floral bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, white grape, lemon zest, cracker, bread, light honey, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a short bit. Nice balance and solid robustness of citrus/floral hops, pale malt, and light yeast ester flavors; with a very clean flavor profile and no cloying after the finish. Medium carbonation and light-medium bodied; with a very smooth, crisp, and clean mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is well hidden with no warming present after the finish as expected of 4.7%. Overall this a nice and pleasant Czech pilsener style. Good balance and solid robustness of citrus/floral hops, pale malt, and light yeast ester flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A nicely enjoyable offering.

Appearance- Pours up a fair amount of head which, at the moment, has poor retention. The head is a pure cotton white while the body is clear, pale straw that glows a weak lemon yellow when held up to the light. The lacing is very spotty.
Nose- Subdued but pretty normal for the style. Grain and biscuit which impart a slight sweetness and sourness. Some soapiness. I get a mild citrus (mostly lemon) when I smell the bottle. When I swirl the glass, the aroma is dominated by sour grain.
Taste- Interesting- much more going on than I expected from the style. Lemon, sour grain, more citrus hops, and a hint of woody resin that seems to come from older hops. The flavor profile isn't very well integrated and the hops taste old. They have an earthy and mineral quality to them that would suggest noble hops instead of the actual hops used in this beer. The lemon notes are a little cloying at the beginning. There's nothing really wrong with this beer but it is quite boring. I would take it above BMC but maybe not a Pabst. And when you factor the price in, it's really hard to justify this purchase.
Mouthfeel- Light bodied. A little thin and watery. Good amount of carbonation. A slightly dry finish.
Drinkability- It's basically carbonated water with notions of grain and hops that seem a little off.
Overall- A rather lackluster beer that meets most of the style requirements but not all. If the price tag doesn't make you pass on this beer, its mediocrity should.

Half litre bottle.Brewed by Marston in England. A: Pale golden, clear, small head which didn’t hang around long,
not much lacing. S: Fantastic pronounced cascade hop aroma, citrus and mango.
T: Very fruity, mainly mango but notes of various citrus fruits, slightly bitter finish,
well balanced. M: Light body, crisp, decent carbonation gave it a prickly feel. O:
Very light, perfect for a summer’s day. Listed as a Czech pilsener but to me it was
an English Pale Ale or possibly an "IPL"

500ml bottle with a code on it.
Gold beer with a small ring of white foam. Smell is lightly floral and citrus hops, with some bread yeast. Taste is crisp and clean biscuit and white bread with some light hop grapefruit in the back.
Something for a hot day, or to go with spicy foods.

500ml bottle poured into tulip 27/6/13
A crystal clear straw yellow with just a hint of green, bubbles of all sizes feed a soapy finger of foam that sticks around long enough to leave a partial ring followed by some random patches
S some tropical notes but faint, biscuit and floral notes with some sweet grains, grass and dried hay
T more grains and some lager yeast perhaps? has a slight macro thing going on but it doesn't hinder all that much, still floral and citric hops working for it but a little toned down compared to the nose
M light and crisp with a mild bitter snap, fairly clean aftertaste and pretty refreshing
O much better then I would've guessed, hops are there but the hop head in me would like much more, well worth a try and very easy to drink
well suited for a hot day and considering I wasn't expecting much I was pretty happy with what I got, 6$ for 500ml might be a little steep for multiple purchases but its worth a shot
