Out of all the Axe Head products this is the best tasting one.

There are those times on The CANQuest (tm) when, rather than rejoicing, I CAN only cringe at what is coming. Usually, and in this case, it involves a Minhas product. The Minhas brother & sister team have proven, time & again, to be inCANpable of producing anything fit for human CANsumption. As a result, my frequent imbibing of their swill has not only made me inhuman, it has transformed me into The Cyberleader! Fortunately, once I have finished with one of their gems, I revert back to human from & thus far, Torchwood has been unable to hunt me down.
From the CAN: "Contains Schisandra Berry & Damiana Leaf Extracts"; "Union Made".
I Crack!ed it open to a sonic boom that is usually the result of these large-format CANs (24-fl. oz./710 ml), but now the CANundrum of how to CANduct a Glug without a resulting mess. I find that a chain fall system suspended from the overhead works best, plus it CAN be used for other purposes. This gem began fizzing like pop as soon as I got things started, but I plowed on all the same. It never produced any head, per se, just fizziness that seemed determined to become nothingness. Color was FD&C Red #40 & Blue #1 (SRM = N/A). It was a strange pinkish-red, but my Pantone chart is at school, so I do not have it for reference. It defied me to begin drinking it. Nose was very sweet, cherry in essence & I thought of Black Cherry ice cream when I was a kid. I used to love sweets, but at some point, I left them behind & have very rarely looked back. The tramp of the Cybermen's boots in the alley signaled me to hurry things along. This was nearly impossible, given its CANbination of high ABV & sheer liquid volume, but I pressed on. Mouthfeel was thin and watery & I was not at all impressed. The taste was super-sweet, very sugary and yes, very evocative of black cherries, but SFW?!? The barely-hidden fusel alcohol was really burning in my esophagus & there was no getting away from it. In fact, as it warmed as I drank through it, the heat began to shimmer in the glass & I felt CANpelled to go upstairs & don my metallic suit that hangs in the closet. I do not feel The Cybermen's call as strongly as I used to in the early days of The CANQuest (tm), perhaps indicative of my high alcohol tolerance or even some other lucky bastid poised to take my place. Either way, this stuff is no bueno. Finish was hot, dry, parching and with enough alcohol to fell a horse. Oh my. There are times & there are times. Terrible, awful stuff for which the MInhas family should be held acCANtable at some point. Drink at your own risk.

Axe Head Black Cherry is sickly red in color. It's mouth feel is thin with a significant burn. It lets you know that the high alcohol content of this malt liquor is stripping the flesh off of your gums while you drink it. It's smell is basically like any cheap flavored malt liquor. It's sweet, but not like a pleasant kind of sweet.
I'm thinking this is what homeless people drink when they have a poor day panhandling. Axe Head Black Cherry is less then two dollars at my local vendor of fine spirits and malt liquor, so it does have the value of getting one intoxicated cheaply. That value however must be balanced with the shame of drinking Axe Head Black Cherry.
