Exits bottle pale and straw. A ring of white encircling the edges of the glass pretty much closes the book of Head.
Smell...damn. Corn husk, spinach and a vegetal rindiness are shooed away by an alkaline notion. I've whiffed this scent before, and in past experiences it did not bode well for things to come.
And here we go again. There's something very, well, cabbage and corn going on here. And all St. Patrick's stuff aside, I did not seek this out. In a farmhouse you'd think there would be some yeast, some funk, some character, hell, even some wheat notion happening maybe. Here it's corn husk, cabbage and damp newsprint through and through. Herbs? Spices? Not today, pal. Ain't happenin'.
The mouthfeel is equally devoid of zest, as it retreats with a passive carbonic wink and then anti-sidles away with cornhusker slickness.
Lazy Mutt...why brew a beer so aptly named?

Second to last one from the tour variety pack...
Poured into shaker pint; golden straw color with a half-finger clear white head that fades in seconds to a fizzy film of bubbles fed by small, lively carbonation.
Smell is almost the same as all their other ones; smells like light corn and sugar, but it does have a vinous, champagne-like scent.
Taste is all corn and sugar, nothing else. Same sickly-sweet Minhas finish, the vinous quality of the smell isn't present at all in the taste. This is NOT a saison.
Mouthfeel is thin; the carbonation approaches saison but doesn't reach the proper level.
Overall, it's sugary corn-water, that's all this is. If you like generic cheap beer, you could probably stomach this, but if you're looking for a saison, stay away from this one.

Purchased as part of a mix six...split the bottle with my sister-in-law:
A=Medium to light golden, with a bit of murkiness and perhaps a slight greenish tint. Head was white and not very dominant.
S=I didn't notice much...perhaps a cut grass smell.
T=Citrus and very crisp...rather sweet and creamy as well. Reminded me a bit of Blue Moon's Belgian White.
M=Moderate carbonation, perhaps a bit slippery, but overall very drinkable.
O=One of Minhas' better offerings...I would definitely drink again, but probably not buy as it is not quite as good as others out there.
