Pours a finger of surprisingly creamy off white head. Color is a clear gold.

Aroma: Grains, corns, and metal. I also get a slight chick pea aroma.

Taste: Taste is similar, but worse. More awkward flavors blending together. Kind of reminds me of a liquid shepherds pie with the corn and pea flavors blending together.

Mouthfeel: Bland and crisp. Light bodied with a high amount of carbonation. Ends buttery.

Overall, this was a terrible beer. Much worse than any other adjunct lager. Just not drinkable.

I, too, was lured in by the $13.40 for 36 cans price -- cheapest per fl. oz. I think I had ever seen. And I have no problem with a "just get wasted" beer, having glugged Schaefer and Schmidt in college -- though that was long ago and isn't the main purpose anymore. I don't drink to get bombed any longer. That said, when is this "just get wasted" beer going to give me so much as a buzz? Memorial Day Sunday, I think I could have chugged all 36 cans in rapid succession and not suffered so much as a mild-buzz headache. Water overloadl poisoning maybe. Was the 4.2% alcohol content before or after dumping the vat of water into the mix??? As for taste, can't comment on something that has none. If I wanted Aquafina, I would have bought it.

Oh man, another CAN from Minhas to make me wish that I had never begun The CANQuest (TM)! I kid you not, their beers leave me sadder than any AmeriCAN Malt Liquor ever has.

The Crack & Glug came off without a hitch and I had over a finger of foamy bone-white head briefly until it just passed over like a cloud on a windy day. Color was a deep golden-yellow with NE-quality clarity. Nose smelled like green apples. That's it. Acetaldehyde and probably due to their yeast strain. Mouthfeel was fizzy like pop and had a bunch of bubble gum-like flavors on the tongue, including apple and grape. Jeez-O, man, but this bordered on flat out disgusting. Finish was Gag City Central, leaving me thankful for something to eat to kill the taste. My oh my, but Minhas never fails to disappoint. I wanted a beer real bad and I got a real bad beer, as is their standard. This is not going in my cooler or in the cooler of anyone with whom I am associated if I CAN help it!

Discount bin novelty buy for cheap. "12 339" code printed on bottom of the can, appears to be a best by date.

Pale gold, bright clarity, thin feeble head.

Smells like sweet apple candy and cooked vegetables, soggy wet grains, corn silage.

Mealy grainy sweet flavor, apples and envelope glue. Wouldn't be surprised if this was brewed with feed grains and table sugar. Flavors of puffed rice cereal and manila folders round things out. Watery and flaccid, unpleasant artificial aftertaste.

Another lowest common denominator piece of crap from Minhas.
If you're on a budget like many, there are far better options out there.

It's really cheap. It will get you drunk. Hard for me to drink unless i put lemon or lime juice in it. Slightly better in a glass then the can. My wife had to the finish the case. She can drink anything. This beer proved that lol. This mandatory 250 character response is lame. I was fine at hard to drink!

Reviewed from notes.

A. Deep golden color yet transparent. Brief surge of foam falls apart in twenty seconds without any lacing.

S. First sniff reminds me of the odor of those horrible stale 'circus peanut' mushy candy mallow things. A second later it resolves into a green apple jolly rancher... This is NOT how a lager should smell. A lager smells clean and fresh, not like candied fruit.

T. Sugary sweet corn and vague rice krispies styled cereal grain. I'm actually somewhat surprised at the fact that I can detect some grain content in the flavor given how the aroma was. No hopping was detected. A chalky sort of mineral aspect appears in the finish as the brew warms up somewhat.

M. Thinner side of medium body, light carbonation. Finish remains sweet and sugary throughout, which is not a great lager characteristic.

If only the can did not have the word 'lager' printed on its side I would have been allowed to be a lot more lax with rating this one. It would have made for a fairly decent malt liquor, for example, but it just isn't marketed as such.

pours out of the can a hazed darker yellow colour with no head and lace. quite fizzy and carbonated. sweet adjunct aroma...a bit of green apples and sugar come to mind. the sweet green apples come through in the taste, sort of like a liquid green apple jolly rancher. some adjunct off notes flow through lightly, also. tastes pretty cheap and watery, just as the price suggests. limited body; mouthfeel is fizzy and watered down. poor drinkability and overall another crappy cheap ass beer. might go well with some tomato juice and other garnishments. probably best to boil brats in.

This is the worst beer i've ever had, the initial taste is like rotting bananas and the after taste like rotting pears, just absolutely atrocious. I paid around 8.50 for a 8 pack and it still wasn't worth the price.
Nothing good about this beer, other than the alcohol.

More cans for the collection, luckily I found a couple singles in the bargain bin.
Clear, yellow color, little head that was instantly gone and therefore no lace.
Slightly sour, wet vegetable smell. Slightly sweet flavor to start then taken over by cooked vegetable. Dryish finish but still left sticky coating on the tongue. Light mouthfeel, thin and fizzy. They sell a ton of it, so people must like the buck a can price.

Not for me, but the price is right and it keeps selling to someone.

Appearance - Light gold. Clear and bubbly. Reasonably tall foamy white head. Good retention for style.

Smell - Light. Mainly corn and sugar.

Taste - Vague, artificial-tasting sweetness. A little like sugared corn. And not in a good way. I guess it's not especially off-style, but the flavor is somewhat off-putting.

Mouthfeel - Light and fizzy.

Overall - In a style designed to not offend, this one offends. Corn dominates, dehanced by the trademark Minhas over-sweetness. If you need to drink this for drunkenness attaining purposes, keep it in the can and avoid giving it your attention.

If your aim is just to get wasted, this beer works fine (one of the cheapest beers you can buy where I live). Too sweet overall, but I'd probably take it over Budweiser...

Pale golden color....begins with rich aromas of caramel apple pie, roasted nuts, brown sugar, and indian spices..then deeper in delicate aromas of orange honey, and a herbed flat bread-like malt which is followed by aroma's of burning cigar embers, peat, and honey roasted nuts....provides a bold round entry to a dryish full body and lingering tobacco, herbal moss, and a honeyed cracker fade with a deft touch of astringent citrus hops.

The taste is rich, velvety and smooth..mildly sweet with chocolate covered espresso accents..Also smoked pepper, baked cherry and rye toast notes evident in abundance with smaller notes of soda noodles, lime starfruit candy, light mollasses, and dried citrus.

Finishes with a prickly pepper and roasted grain-accented fade.

Otherwise pretty unmemorable.

Poured from a 12 oz. can. Has a light golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of plastics, green apples, some grains. Taste is a typical Minhas flavor profile, green apples, grapes, plastics, not very good. Feels light in the mouth and overall is a bargain at this price, but not very good.

24oz can, no date. $2

Sweet artificial smell, taste follows with sweet cooked corn, grainy malt. Feel is light and crisp, as a good lawnmower beer should be.

Wouldn't be bad on a hot summer's day, but even then, there'd be better choices. Even this brewery has better adjunct lagers in their line-up

Yeah, not the greatest but wish this was around in college. $8 for a 36 pack and it's not horrible. I would drink this over us macros. Brewery is a tub place to visit.

The latest "cheapo" brew to hit the market, a 36-pack of 12oz. cans retails around $11.99 in Indy or .50¢ a can.

Clear, pale yellow with an off white finger of fizz that burns off quickly and shrinks to a skim of foam. Corn grits, green apple skin and sweet smelling barley make up the aroma. Sweet and corny with a touch of raw grain. Light and fizzy bodied. This is a pretty bad beer but I'm not sure it's any worse than the "premium" light macro lagers that cost three times as much.

This is a cheap 5% Beer. It is nothing to write home about, but it's certainly better than a lot of the other beers in its class. Smell and appearance are nothing. The taste is a bit too sweet for my liking. At about $.40 a can it's worth it, otherwise I would pass.

12 oz can was poured into a pint glass.

Appearance: This beer poured a one finger head that reduced to a thin layer quickly. It is a golden straw yellow with great clarity and bubbles seen coming up through the glass. Spotty lacing on the glass as the beer was drank.

Smell: Sweet cereal grains and grassy hops. Very standard.

Taste: Really not much going on here. Sweet and generic. Can't really decide if it's cereal or grain.

Mouthfeel: Smooth, somewhat enjoyable, lacking flavor, medium carbonation, medium bodied, and too easy to drink.

Overall: Not sure if I'll be getting this one again. Extremely generic, but wasn't expecting much by the style of this beer. Gone in 4 sips and not too enjoyable.

Picked this up for a night with BMC friends at the suggestion of my friendly liquor store manager. It did not go over well with them. Poured 12oz can first into mouth then into a glass to see what I had consumed.

A- Pours a pale gold straw color. Has a three second fizzy white head that vanishes. It would be fun to compare lagers to see which has the quickest dissipating head. No lacing on the glass, but that could be due to how quickly the beer was consumed.

S- Smells like week old Cheerio's that were left in the sun and had a tiny drip of water hitting it every few hours. Maybe a hint of sweetness.

T- It has some taste! It is like eating the aforementioned Cheerio's. You can do it if pressed, can recognize what you are eating, and would do so if hungry. I actually thought the taste made up for the lack of smell. After the initial cereal taste, it is beyond smooth with out much more than a twinge of sweetness.

M- Light to dry body with a nice fizzy level of carbonation. Fizziness doesn't get in the way of drinking.

O- 50 cents a can makes this my new go to drink when I am asked to bring beer to house parties full of BMC drinkers. It is easy to drink and has a nice 5 abv.

Since the can says "Imported for..", I'm going to go ahead and put this in the Wisconsin listing for everybody's favorite panderer to the lowest common beer denominator. Commercials for this beer plastered my television a year or so ago, looking all local and shit. Would have fooled me, but...

This beer pours a slightly hazy pale straw colour, with two fingers of unbrowned meringue-like white lace, which leaves some surprising swaths of inkblot lace around the glass as it recedes. It smells metallic, grassy, and faintly grainy. The taste is sweet adjunct grains - more rice than corn, which is weird, given that the place where they make this stuff loves all things corn. Also swimming around in there are some faint citrus esters, mild sour, grassy hops, and soft fusel alcohol. The carbonation is on the low side, the body medium weight, slick, a bit oily, and only a tad cloying. It finishes more or less clean, the malt and hops doing their small part amongst a growing hollow booze edginess.

I'll grant that my initial disposition towards this particular offering was not good. Having actually now consumed it, to use a version of the tired axiom, it's just not as bad as I had assumed. Average at best, to be sure, and too sweet, but nothing overly offensive either.

Had this at Regina Fesitv-Ale on Jan 31st. 4 oz sampler.

This was better than I was expecting. Clear golden colour with white head.

Grainy and slightly sweet aroma.

Taste mirrors the aroma. Grainy with some light sweetness. Simple and straight forward.

Not bad, but not good either.
