Watching it pour into my goblet it doesn't look very exciting. There is really no head maybe just a dense foamy colar dispiate a rather robust carbonation. It pour a chestnut brown with good clarity.
Aroma is of sweet malts candied sugar ans figs.
Taste is very good and quite drinkable. Similar to the nose there is a good sweet malt bill with plenty of dark fruit. Mouhfeel is about a medium weight and fairly smooth with a tangy bitter or dry finish.
A very good beer thats not overly heavy or sweet. It walks that fine line perfectly. I'd like to see some more of a foamy cap to pump up the appearance.
