A-Poured a hazy golden color w/frothy white head, but retention was short-lived.

S-Smooth and slightly sweet fruity/spicy bouquet. Bits of coriander, pear, orange and citrus.

T&M-Prickly carbonation w/smooth light body. Delicate fruit and spice w/wheat upfront. Light clove. Finish sticks and leaves aftertaste which is not altogether unpleasant. Carbonation carries through well and perks up other aspects of its character.

D-Sessionable and lively...excellent summer sipper. Not very distinguishable from other beers of this style.

330ml bottle. Wine glass glass. Pale straw color, chill haze appearance. Brief crown, white in color. Fresh bread, herbal, citric, coriander, spiced, candy aromas with acidic & sugary notes. Crispy sweet maltiness at first with acidic sensation. Light body. High carbonation. Watery texture. Spiced palate & spicy touch. Sugary citric syrup in the middle linger into a sweet/sour finish. Slight fruity aftertaste. Refreshing & easy drinkable.

My first beer of this style, had in Paris at Brasserie Suffren, served into a Grimbergen glass with a slice of lemon that wasn't noticed until a few sips in.

It came out with a finger thick, not overly dense head that left some good lacing. It was a hazy yellow, a little bit darker than straw. The smell was pleasant and floral, a lot of citrus (not sure if the smell was due to the beer or the lemon), some coriander and other spice (kinda clovey), some hops, and maybe a spot of alcohol. The taste wasn't quite as good as the smell. The lemon was the main taste, with the spices not being overly present. The hops were fairly masked as well. It had a fairly sweet start and a pretty dry, sweet finish. The mouthfeel was nice and refreshing, not as carbonated as would have been preferred, but still good.

Overall, the beer was good, I'm not too big a fan of wheat-style beers, but this one may have encouraged me to try others. Also, it went great with sauerkraut!

We pour a brew of pale lemon yellow. It holds a foamy white head of one and a half fingers. This leaves thick lacing as it disappears, at a slower rate. There is a definite haze to the beer, but no particulates are noted. Carbonation looks to be medium. Amidst the malts the aroma is rich with herbal spice and thick clovey phenols that sting the nose. This spice is of cinnamon and warming smells of winter, reminiscent of a sweet potpourri. There is a hint of biting, chalky yeast, and some bittering of orange peel. As we sip the mouth is met with wet malts and an initial sugary sweetness. To the latter is lent light and fruity esters and sweetened citrus. The middle is highlighted by clovey phenols and a peppery spiciness. The citrus here moves more to rind, which bitters the flavoring. This lasts through the end, which is otherwise a mash of sweaty malts. The aftertaste breathes with sour grain and more dry phenols. The body is on the lighter side and the carbonation is as well. The feel to each sip is soft, almost like a whipped yogurt, which is light and airy. It does this without approaching wateriness. The mouth is neither dried nor coated. The abv is within range and the beer drinks easily.

Overall, what we found most enjoyable about this brew was the nose. Here we were able to detect an array of spice, which had a nicely accompanying sweetness to add complexity to the mix. The taste was a bit of a letdown after the bright aromas, but the final product is an enjoyable brew for the style.

Served in 0.5L mug at 'T Kelderke restaurant in Brussels.

Opaque lemon yellow color. Slight citrus slight yeast funk aroma. Lemonade yeast like taste. Mouthfeel was kind of weak and watery. Ok for sitting around the Grand Place, but there are so many better beers to be had in the same vicinity.

L - Poured a hazy pale gold, with a white froffy head and some lacing.

S - The main aroma was of fruit and herbs, with a wheat tone in the background. Very nice smell.

T - The taste is of fruity with a sweet metallic aftertaste that lingers in the mouth.

M&D - As it had low levels of carbination I found it quite easy to drink, but I do believe that a little bit more fizz would have improved this beer... In my opinion.

Overall a decent beer that would be great on a hot day, but not one to rave about.

This brew produces big bright white and rocky head. The body is hazy with a white/gold colored body. The foam sticks around quite well.

Aromas of coriander, clove and bubblegum, along with yeasty esters are what I detect.

There is an orangey taste, with a sugary finish like Topps bubblegum.

This feels very smooth, and has a slight oily finish.

This brew is very refreshing and makes for a great session beer. This is somewhat complex and keeps the mind pondered, but not distracting. Even the non-beer drinker (i.e. my wife) can even appreciate this one.
