Beer poured a pale yellow color with a head of more than 1 inch. Thick white bubbles, soapy looking. The aroma had citrus up front with some malt and yeast in there as well.

The taste was malty, a bit scotchy and definite citrus notes as well. At the back end there was also a nice hop bitterness that rounded the beer out.

The body was a bit filling with a strong carbonation character and a bit of hot from the higher abv.

A: Slightly brown tangerine/peach, massive 4 finger sea foam head, lots of rising carbonation, hint of opacity.
S: Fruity yeast, excellent balance of sweet and savory, apple/pear/peach.
T: Alcohol and yeast in the front, peaches, orange, lightness of a blonde, medium body,
M: mildly astringent, mild to moderate stinging carbonation, fluffy body.
O: Nice, peachy and very enjoyable.

Dumpy 33cl bottle: well in date when opened in May 2012. Poured into my 'Westmalle' chalice giving a huge white foaming head and a body of clear golden beer.

The smell is like fresh mince and cardboard, strange but not as bad as it sounds.

The taste is also not normal: salt and pepper mixed into an alcoholic, yeasty, beery blend that kind of works somehow.

Well carbonated and spritzy: not something I'd usually take too, but overall it's fine.

Pours a clear, gold/straw color. One inch head of a white color. Great retention and good lacing. Smells of pale malt, slight sweet malt, alcohol, slight spice, and a hint of hop. Fits the style of a Belgian Strong Pale Ale. Mouth feel is sharp and crisp, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of alcohol, slight sweet malt, slight hop, slight spice, and slight pale malt. Overall, good appearance, aroma, and blend.

Pours a clear yellow color with a white head the leaves almost no lacing.

Smell is faint of orange and spice.

Taste has some honey notes, but mostly citrus and spicy, with a dry finish that leaves a peppery tang on your tongue.

Pretty good beer, not to heavy but has a kick and nice flavor. Wish I had a few more to drink tonight.

Bottle poured into Duvel tulip glass.

Golden yellow color with loads of frothy/bubbly white head. Smell is mostly skunky unfortunately.. the only pleasant smell I can make out is slight bubblegum.

Taste is sweet and spicy.. definitely a "Belgian" flavor. Not overwhelming by any stretch, a fairly easy drinking beer for something this strong.

This is pretty average for the style.. hard to describe much else.

Pale yellow golden color with lots of thick head with medium retention, but leaving heavy laces.
Unexpected sour aroma with lemony notes, hints of pineapple, green apples and wheat.
Interesting that its flavor is a bit different than its nose, especially on the sourness intensity. Taste of peppery yeast, wheat, Cointreau liquor, peaches and brown sugar. A hint of tart, especially in its head. Mildly dry finish.
Light to medium body with an effervescent carbonation. 8% ABV is well hidden.
Not a highlight among its style and country, but still a good beer and worth it to try.
