This is a quick stop/liquor store in the southern part of Sioux Falls.
They have a nice selection of Belgians, American crafts, and micros. I don't remember seeing any German brews.
They have a small selection of beer glasses at the bottom of one of the shelves.
I spoke with the beer guy (didn't catch his name). He was very helpful and enthusiastic about the beers that continue to be available in Sioux Falls.
I definitely recommend hitting this place up if you are ever in the Sioux Falls area.

Home brewing equipment, great craft beer selection, all in a Sinclar gas station. How very South Dakota of them.

Very helpful in selecting some beers that I had been looking to try. If in Sioux Falls you need to check this place out.

Good Spirits is becoming my go-to beer store in South Dakota. Excellent selection of singles, bombers, and six and 12-packs. They also have a half-dozen tap lines and usually have something interesting on draft. They are more than happy to provide samples before filling your growler.

The location is a bit odd, basically a convenience store at one of the busiest intersections in Sioux Falls. Nothing special about the atmosphere but it gets the job done and they cram a lot into their space.

Lots of imports as well as pretty much all the craft beer that's available in this part of the state. They also have a great selection of glassware and a full line of homebrewing equipment and supplies.

The service, in my experience, has always been top notch. Helpful and friendly.

Prices seem to be on par with all the other stores in SIoux Falls and in the area.

Always worth a stop as there is usually something new each time.

I live in a small town in South Dakota with very little craft beers - Sam Adams, Red Hook Longhammer and Shiner to be exact. When my wife drags me to shop in Sioux Falls this place is what makes my trip worthwhile. I always stock up and the selection is the best in South Dakota. Many Belgium beers for those into to them (not my favorite) and they are bringing in different beers all the time. Staff is helpful. My "destination" for a trip I don't look forward too, ie, Empire Mall.

In town for a few weeks of training, so I had to check out this gas station/liquor store. As earlier noted, SD isn't the best state for selection of craft beers, but they have plenty of great local Midwest beers, and a surprisingly great selection of imports, especially Belgians. The homebrew supplies were also excellent, at great prices as well. Staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and not overbearing in any way. Will definitely hit them up as long as I'm here.

South Dakota isn't a great state for beer, as both breweries and distribution are sorely lacking. My ratings for selection and quality take this into account. With that said: This is the best beer store in Sioux Falls and likely the entire state. The staff is knowledgeable and regularly help my dad, who is new to craft beer, find beer that fits his tastes. They recently added growler fills (32oz and 64oz) and even had some Surly on tap. Prices are competitive with the other craft beer stores in town. Taylor's/Good Spirits is my go to beer store in Sioux Falls and I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking for craft beer in South Dakota.

Heard about this place on beeradvocate before I left home. From small town so pickings tend to be extremely slim. Much to my surprise this business was full of a wide variety of beers as well as wine and liquor. (Also available were a large amount home-brewing kits and tools.) Staff was extremely helpful. I am new to the craft beer world so was a huge selling point for me. Will definitely be returning. (Which is saying something because this is an hour and a half drive one way.) Glad to find a new place to get hard to find craft beers.

It's basically a gas station market. As you walk in, stay straight from the door and you'll happen upon three racks of beer. Some decent selections here but nothing that would blow your mind.

I was able to grab a Goose Christmas from 2009 and a Brau Brothers Barrel Aged Quad, which is special to me only because I don't live in the Midwest. That was it for me and this was after 15 minutes of searching.

Again, from what I gathered talking to a few people it seems South Dakota may be a little barren in terms of what stores can usually offer so knowing that this would be a better place to stop. However, compared to other states it's firmly middle of the road.

I was in town briefly and looking for local beers. Guided by Beer Advocate I went to this place and found a good selection -- not actually much from South Dakota, but smaller breweries from Wisconsin and Minnesota. A very good selection of craft beers from other areas too and what appeared to be a good variety of homebrew supplies. I appreciated the fact that I could buy singles, so I could try a variety of brands. I wish I had more room in my suitcase. One of the unappreciated detrimental effects of terrorism is the elimination of beer transportation in carry-on luggage.

Clearly the best South Dakota has to offer in beer. If it is sold in our state, they sell it. Brewers appreciate the section of the store dedicated to them, and out of towners like me are pleased that, where appropriate, they have most of their offerings both room temp and refrigerated. Reasonable pricing too. And as a large seller they must carry some pull with distributors, as I am confident that they have had something to do with the selection improvements in our state. So they think about customers in more ways than one.

Knowledgeable and friendly staff. And my bride appreciates the extensive wine offerings as well. Something for everyone. Just a great store.

Located in a gas station of all places. They have a liquor store and homebrew supplies in the building as well. Your one stop shop! The beer is all gathered toward the center of the store and a third are probably in coolers. A nice singles selection. If SD gets any particular beer, this place will certainly be able to get their hands on it. Very nice selection here. Very high quality of belgians that you likely will not find anywhere else in the city. About four different Cantillons on the shelf along with other top notch Belgians. Service is fine, but not great. A nice glassware selection too, but it will cost you. The one beef with this place, is there pricing. It is easily the most expensive place in town. It was higher than the three other stores I visited on every beer I was looking at. I was going to grab a Boulevard Goblet until I saw the $9 sticker price! Found it at another store for $1.99. Brewery labeled pints were marked for $5. Their 750's were a dollar or more than at other stores. Basically, the store is nice, they have the highest quality beers in town with a great selection, but it will cost you more than other stores. If visiting here, it's worth shopping around.

Great beer selection. Found odells friek, cantillon, boulevard rye on rye. Prices reasonable for difficult to find beers. Great selection of international beers such as mikkeler, nogne, dieu du ciel and cantillon. Justin knows his beers and has a good awareness of freshness issues. Definitely worth the stop if you are driving through on I 229.

There were many small bottles available to buy singly. Home brew supplies are available too. I bought several beers from lucky bucket, summit and other regional brewers not available in Kansas city.

I think Taylor's Pantry has a great selection of beer and it also has a great selection of home brewing supplies. the atmosphere is a very over filled convenience store that is very cramped for space. If you don't like tight spaces i would stay away form this place. The problem with a store like this in our area is that going through inventory can be difficult, so this store has a large inventory that is very much past expiration. I understand some big and maltier beers are OK with age but there are small beers that are from 2007 and 2008 and it is 2011. I think this place has a great selection but there are other places that have decent beer selections without the claustrophobia and stale snowflaked beers

Great location on the corner of 41st and Minnesota, always easy to stop by. Huge selection of craft beer, honestly, if it's distributed in South Dakota they carry it. One of the only places in Sioux Falls where I've found Cantillon and Drie Fonteinen. Most 6 packs and many larger format bottles are kept cold. Most 12 oz offerings are also available as singles. Quite a decent selection of branded glassware for those looking for the right glass for their beer. Large homebrew supply section as well.

GoodSpirits is my go to beer store in Sioux Falls. Besides their impressive selection of packages, they have the best single bottle selection in town. If a beer is available in South Dakota, they have it! And, with their homebrew supplies and convenient hours, they are the top notch one stop shop for all things beer in Sioux Falls. They are a must stop for anyone in or traveling through Sioux Falls!

If you have any questions about anything, or need help, ask for Justin - the beer man - he knows his products inside and out! Plus the rest of the staff seems to know their stuff too!

Great place. Awesome selection of beers from around the country and work. Largest selection in Sioux Falls, SD and it's surroundings. Staff goes out of there way to make the experience even better.

The selection of beer range from big breweries like bud and miller/coores to microbrews like New Belgian and Odell to imports such as St Banards Abby and Guineas.

Homebrew stuff from extract kits to grains for the all grain. Brewer. Also can get bottles, pots, cleaners, cornie kegs, and burners. If they don't have it they can get it.

The largest selection in homebrew supplies around. A+ PLACE. No need to shop anywhere for your beer or brewing needs.

There are plenty of places in sioux falls I could go to buy beer or brewing supplies. There is a reason I always return to Goodspirits. They far exceed my other options in service and quality. I think service is really their most valuable asset. It always amazes me how willing they are to help you get what you want. Justin, you rock!

The quality and quantity of thier brewing supplies also beats anyone in town. Again, if they don't have what you want, they will get it for you. The appearance on the outside doesn't look like they would have alot of selection, but it's a whole different story on the inside. They've got so much packed into that store, it's unbelievable.

I like the fact that I can ask questions about any of the beer they have and Justin has the answers for me. Awsome place!

My first and usually last stop if I am looking for a special brew in South Dakota.

The beer selection is excellent and the Scandinavian and Belgian beers available are just outstanding. The beer manager knows his stuff and can help you find just the right brew to meet your taste.

Writing this review is making me want to get over there now and see what new beers are in. The mix and match make your own six pack selection is also extremely diverse and well though out as it is super organized.

THis spot owns!

Exceptional store in every sense of the word!! Everyone who works there goes out of their way to help the customer and provide information. The beer-man, Justin, couldn't be nicer and more knowledegable! My wife stops in more often than I do took make a selection for me, I don't get to town as often as she does, I know I am very lucky, and Justin couldn't be more helpful. Not a beer snob in the place so don't be afraid to ask any questions, no matter how simple it may seem. Probably the only place in SD to get some of the limited release beers. Just got a bottle of the Goose Island Vanilla Bourbon Barrel Stout, they had the only case in the state. A must stop for any beer lover coming to town!

As many before me have stated, if you didn't know any better, you would drive right on by this place. Simply a gas station, convenience store from the outside. But, walk through the doors, and you are greeted by a "great plains" beer oasis.

The selection here is pretty phenomenal when we consider where we are. At Good Spirits Fine Wine and Liquor, they do an excellent job of keeping up with beer releases that are available to them. And those beers available to them are far more than one would expect. The import selection is very extensive, and includes Mikkeller, Nogne O, Drie Fonteinen, Unibroue, Dieu Du Ciel, Cantillion, and St. Bernardus. I, however, have a tendency to spend my money on American craft beer. Good Spirits has an incredible micro selection as well. Boulevard Smokestack, Goose Island including many Reserve selections and at least 2 vintages of Bourbon County, Odell with all limited releases, Big Sky, Millstream, Jolly Pumpkin, Summit Unchained, Rogue, Leinenkugel Big Eddy, and Flat Earth, as well as South Dakota's own Crow Peak. As far as I am concerned, the only thing this place is truly lacking is Surly. "Omar, this is my plea."

Service here is pretty over the top as well. Since I live 100 miles from this place, I don't always know when new things become available, but Justin, the beer guy, always goes out of his way to let me know when big things are happening at the store. Often times, if my wife or a friend is in Sioux Falls, I will ask them to stop by Great Spirits to pick something up for me. I can usually just call Justin, and he will have my beer ready for purchase when my wife (or friend) stops in. This really cuts down on the inconvenience to my "gophers" and makes them willing to go back for me again and again. I do not know if this is something that Justin has time to do for everyone, but for me at least, this is a truly invaluable service.

The latest addition at Good Spirits is home brewing equipment and ingredients. I was quite impressed with the variety of items they are able to offer in this store that already has so much to offer the "beer geek". The convenience that this added line brings to local home brewers is awesome.

The last thing I want to mention is price at Good Spirits. I find that all the beer I buy here is priced right in line with all my favorite Twin Cities beer stores, and they seem to be doing everything they can to keep home brew supplies right on par with the two very fine Twin Cities homebrew stores.

Overall, Good Spirits is a must stop for anyone in the area!

I have to say I wasn't expecting much when it came to South Dakota beer stores. Wow was I wrong. I walked in and the store is large to begin with with 2 large aisles devoted to wine and 2 more for liquor. As you walk past the register which is in the middle of the building you enter the beer department. It's not gigantic area but what it lacks in size it makes up for in quality of beers and selection.

After a very short browsing of the department I was greeted by a gentleman (Justin) who runs their beer department. He was extremely helpful in selecting some beers out of their sizeable selection. I was also taken aback because this is one of the first stores I have been to in a while where there were actually a good amount of beers that I had not tried. Selections include Mikkeller, Nogne O, Odell, Boulevard, Grand Teton, Goose Island, and many others.

Justin was more than eager to talk beer and helped me sort through some of the beer brands which I was less familiar with. I wound up buying a 4 pack of GIBCS, Boulevard Smokestack Imperial Stout, and a HaandBryggeriet Haandbakk.

I was extremely impressed with this store and Justin's knowledge and desire to have a great beer selection in an area not known for craft.

This is definitely the store I go to when I'm in Sioux Falls. There's no other place in the city that can keep up. Very helpful staff, reasonably priced, and a fantastic selection of imports and domestic-micro brews; and they're always getting new things in - so much so that it's hard for a poor college student like myself to be able to try everything that I find there. Plus, if you sign up for their text-message thinger, every once in awhile (it seems like at least once every month or so), you get ten to fifteen percent off singles.

One of the best beer store I have ever been to.
Huge selection of international beer, especially smaller breweries like Mikkeller, Nogne-O and De Struisse. Good selection of the regional and larger micros like Brau Brothers, Odell, Boulevard, New Belgium, Mill Stream... Also the largest selection of sour and funky beer I've found, they have everything from Panil to Jolly Pumpkin, Drie Fonteinen or Cantillion.

If you have any questions, ask for Justin, the beer manager. I think he's tried almost everything in the store and knows a lot about what he sells. Always has a good suggestion or new beer to try.

To top it off they recently started selling homebrew supplies. Truly a one stop shop.

Good Spirits has to be the best beer store in South Dakota. They carry a good selection of the available domestic craft beers as well as a nice selection of imports. They are my "go to" store for new choices and seasonal beers. They are not afraid to carry limited releases such as the Summit Unchained Series. They have added a new line of homebrewing supplies to help out local homebrewers.

Justin, the beer manager, is very helpful and knowledgable. He showed me a bargain buy on Chimay Ale when I was there recently. The owners are reaching out to customers with Facebook, Twitter and text messaging.

I will continue to shop there on a regular basis.
