I always make a point of stopping here and stocking up when I'm in the area. Just a short drive off the I-89, and 5 min from downtown Burlington.

You'll be able to find a lot of the Vermont breweries here, in addition to solid representation from the west coast (fairly extensive Rogue and Stone selection). What I like about the place is the international representation with a focus on Belgian beers, and a pretty decent selection from a smattering of other european countries (Italy, Denmark, Sweden, Germany). Overall quite a wide ranging and excellent selection of good beer to choose from. They also have a good selection of glasses near the check out that changes frequently.

Prices are moderate to high, with some of the european offerings a tad higher than what I've seen elsewhere. However, not to the extent where it would restrict me from stopping in.

I've never been approached to ask if I need assistance when I'm there, and I seldom see any employees in the beer section, so if you do want to ask a question you're likely going to have to hunt someone down. Employees at the check out are always real friendly and usually start a conversation up about the beer, or the overly informative Ontario drivers license.

One of the best beer stores in Vermont.

Amazing store! Stood in line for Heady Topper and Sip of Sunshine. The distribution was organized and flawless. The staff were courteous and helpful, and the line moved amazingly quick. The selection of beer is outstanding. So many rare beers to be found on their shelves!

It's essentially the one-stop shop in Vermont. If the state gets it, they will have it while supplies last. The secret out that this is the go to, so anything limited/obscure that comes in will go faster than the other shops in the state, and of course for Heady/SOS shipments, expect to be there at the time the shipment drops or you won't get any. I've seen Heady sell out in under 5 minutes.

On that note, the service also makes everything here ideal. Not only knowledgeable, very good at pointing people to the right vermont beer direction as well so if you're not there trying to find heady and lawsons, you will still find somebody who can tell you what good VT brews you might have skipped out on otherwise. They also count the heady line to ensure if you do line up you will get at least some. Some days they are handing out cases like nothing, and others you'll stil at least get a pack or two.

Since it's also the most distant from me in the direction I come from, I don't always get up here for cases, but no complaints when I have, and I always get a case. The line itself is also not too bad as every time I end up meeting with and talking to fellow beer geeks about VT beer or other highly reviewed/sought after beers from our parts of the country so it's always a pleasant visit compared to other experiences. Prices are about what you will see across the state as well.

Overall I can't think of anything more you would need out of your typical bottle store.

My favorite beverage store there is. Also the best place to get Heady Topper, Lawson's, and a bunch of other Vermont treasures. I was lucky enough to live right around the corner so I could roll out of bed 10 minutes before Heady got delivered and still score some.

I visited on a Friday after the Heady lines, but there was still lots of Sip of Sunshine, which was a nice thing.

I went in just hoping to get some good beer that I cannot get in Canada. I was shocked at the variety. I knew they had a good selection, but this was better than most bottle shops I have visited. One of the first things I spotted was Achel Extra...WTF? That is obscure and can be hard to get...there were 6 of them on the shelf.

Prices were quite reasonable. I would say I was shocked at how low the prices were on some of the labels I bought (compared to other US places I have shopped).

Service was good, but they were quite busy. I expect that I could have had more time to chat and ask questions if they were not so busy. Still, everyone was very polite and helpful.

All in all a great place that will become my go to spot for craft in the US.

Went when Heady & SoS deliveries were being made. Line was long but moved quickly. Cool vibe, and awesome selection to choose from. Great place.

Really great place that is seemingly crammed into a building that was adjusted to fit its needs as VT craft beer took off.
This is a great beer store and a great liquor store as well. The interior is laid out in different 'rooms' with one for liquor, one for mixers, a little section for wine, and a room and some coolers for tons of awesome beer.
The beer room has coolers around the perimeter with singles and sixers separated. In the middle there are shelves (also separated in sixes/singles) with American/Canadian craft and a decent selection of imports. There also is separate shelving space and coolers for cider.
The staff was extremely helpful (not ignoring, not over-bearing, and very friendly). The prices are about par for the course (but coming from QC, they seem dirt cheap hahaha).
I was able to get my hands on some local stuff I'd never heard of, some Lawson's (which I never thought I'd see), and some nationally distributed stuff that you can't get in QC. I would definitely go back every time I am anywhere nearby. Great store!

Went to college at St. Mikes and was fortunate to have this place so close. It introduced me to good beer. You can easily spend an hour in there walking around and sifting through their massive selection. The staff is terrific and you can find excellent deals.

During a vacation in VT I made this a destination during my stay and I will easily say that it was a great choice to stop by. Sean/Shawn? was awesome and gave me a tour of the craft beer selection. He pointed out VT only beers and notable limited stuff that I prob wouldn't see in PA. Granted, some beers pointed out to me were everywhere in Boston and VT but they were priced much better than anywhere else. The two guys working at the time were more than accommodating and made me feel welcome 9 hours from home. Great service and awesome employees. I didn't really ask about liquor or other drink so I can't comment on that. I scored low on atmosphere because when I walked in, I felt as if it was, in fact, a bulk store warehouse. The selection compared to what I have in York was awesome because it was different. There were a few "shelf turds" that I had to pick up but nothing absolutely "make you lose your mind". They have good volume of great beers. This place is a must-visit if you're in the Burlington/Winooski area.

From what I read this is the main beer store in the Burlington area. The location is pretty shady, so don't leave any valuables visible in the car.

Once you get inside it's a whole different world. There are two large sections for beer, one section for wine, and a liquor section near the cash registers. I found plenty of Vermont beer and regionals I can't get back in Iowa. The gem of a find was Dogfish Head Punkin ale. I was able to build a six-pack with lots of interesting finds. Several breweries I visited didn't serve by the glass so it was nice to get some items without having to buy multiple growlers.

My favorite place to shop. The best selection of beer in Vermont by far. Around 950 beers to choose from, from all around the world. Not to mention weekly shipments of Lawons's Finest Liquids and Heady Topper. Great selection, great service and very reasonable prices.

This place rules. There are very few places where you can get Lawson's Finest Liquids and this is one of them. I go every Friday (the shipment arrives somewhere between noon and 3 PM and bottles rarely last through the first couple of hours) and pick up my one or two bottles. I try and get something else every time I go. These guys take pride in their beer selection without being weird about it. No one there brags about how rare their selection is or refers to themselves as "beer geeks" (seriously, that makes you an instant jack ass. It's like calling yourself a foody. UGH) but they are happy to make suggestions and help you find what you're looking for.
While I go almost only for their beer, I also know that they have a terrific wine and liquor selection. For those who like to drink their beer in style, they have tons of great glassware, much of it with cool branding. I am almost ashamed to admit how much I like drinking Lawson's out of Lawson's glasses. I also got a Fantome glass from these guys. Which is super cool, even if I was a little ashamed of myself when I sprung for it.
Finally, I'll point out that their cashiers are super friendly. They're always happy, never talking about how much longer they have to work and they never seem stressed, no matter how long the lines are. Which I appreciate. The only negative of this place is that, much like the name suggests, it's a warehouse. Its concrete floors and industrial shelves are no nonsense, but not exactly warm either. It doesn't really bother me, but it's hard to give them a perfect score in that regard. I will continue shopping here as long as I live in the area.

This is where I get my Heady, my Lawsons, my Founders, Grassroots and more!
The staff is incredibly helpful, not uptight at all.
They go out of their way to make you feel welcome and to help ensure as many people get their Heady and Lawsons as possible.
Single best beer selection in Vermont and an awesome staff.
Evan and James are the two guys I go to more than anyone else when I'm there.

Stopped here on our way out of town when we visited Vermont, to stock up on Vermont beer and cider before heading back home to PA.

They have a very extensive selection of local Vermont and New England brewed beer, which is what I was most interested in. They also had a large import section that would be great if you're a local. Prices were reasonable compared to PA. Staff was helpful and gave me some suggestions.

Quite simply put : the best beer place within a few hundred miles. I saw stuff there I hadn't even dreamed of seeing in a beer store. I walked out of there with brews I never even though I'd be able to find.

The place itself kinda reeks. Rough set-up, dirty floors, sweaty fridges that lay pools of water across sections of the floor... they could at least try to keep it respectably clean.

Other than that, the general selection is definitely above average. I actually had to walk out of there before I spent too much - and my friend had to quite looking around lest he got a nosebleed or something similarly awful. This place is serious about its beer selection. I am somehow grateful I don't live next to it - I don't know how I'd pay my rent.

From now on, this is my official let's-go-there-before-we-go-back-across-the-border store when I'm in the Burlington area. Walk in, buy like your life depends on it, load the car and hope the customs are too lazy to get out of their booth.

Stopped in here over the weekend while in town for the HF Festival. I have heard a lot of great things about this place, really wanted to make it a point to check this place out.

Atmosphere is a little weird honestly. Shop is broken into a bunch of different rooms, almost as if they kept expanding but never made the effort to incorporate the additions into the main space. Service was good overall. I was approached by a few of the beer side guys to see if I needed help and I was rang up by what appeared to be a wanna be member of LMAFO, white glasses and singing really made the look. Quality was quite good overall. Tons of beer, only a few here and there that I would consider to be too out of date to consider. Section was in a word, insane. They have a TON of beer. I have only been to maybe 2-3 other bottle shops with this much beer on offer. Bottles ranging from BMC crap to some more limited stuff like Golden Blend and Lawson's. Liquor selection was pretty good as well but it seems to be more of a beer store. They also have a nice glass selection to round things out. Prices were on par with all of the other bottle shops in the area, some where even a little lower.

Overall an above average bottle shop with a huge selection and reasonable prices. I will definitely return in the future.

Best selection and fairest prices in Vermont. Typically fresh inventory, knowledgable and friendly staff . Downside is the social media network of locals works well for them and not so much the consumer, as items like Heady Topper & Lawson's get wiped out in the blink of an eye the moment they arrive.

I was up for Brewfest and went here to pick up some bottles to bring home. Managed to grab some Heady, and Lawson's which were released at designated times because of the Fest. Also grabbed some other locals, as well as Logsdon, Anchorage, and some 3F Golden Blend. There overall selection is huge so it should be hard for you to leave empty handed.

This is an outstanding place to find beers in Vermont. The have added a great beer manager lately who is working hard to bring in new beers all the time. If you are looking for something specific, it is always best to ask for Evan, the beer manager as he is the most knowledgeable about what they have in. Also if you happen to be in the mood for spirits they have a decent selection for that as well. if you are visiting VT and hoping to find something specific here, I suggest you facebook them, Evan will take care of you. Enjoy all the different beers they have!

Cheers,
Dave

strong on selection of beers relatively speaking. better than anything on my recent trip through 3 states including Maine. However Biggest NY, NJ,Mas. and Illinois spots to name some, had better selection than this. Very buzy for late Sunday afternoon. Not too many new release bottles left. Punky attitude by some staff. Good selection of locals. Prices not cheap though not outrageously high. Accessibility if you are at or around Burlington. A little tricky with streets despite maps, GPS. Have both.

The famous Winooski Beverage Warehouse!

An average-looking booze shop in this suburb-or-what-have-you of Burlington, with ample parking. From the outside, you would never guess the riches that await inside.

There is a liquor section on the right as you enter (with a different cashier per Vermont law), a ton of wine all around and the beer goodness to your left.

First you hit the coolers, with small breweries like Northshire Brewing, Spanish Peaks, Berkshires and Lawson's (only the Blonde available, though). They were out of Heady Topper...

Then go into what I would call the "beer supermarket", with aisle after aisle of brews from all over. It is strange, though, because they have lots of imports and entire aisles devoted to things like English and German brews but you won't find a lot of basic stuff like Dogfish 60 or Stone IPA.

For me, it's all about the vintage cabinet, with 2008 Double Bastard and tone RIS/IRS, Old Stock 09-10, Brooklyn Monster, Founders Better Half... serious shit!

Service was a little lacking. The place was packed on a Saturday evening and I had to track down a beer guy to open the vintage cabinet. He was cool once I found him, but it's not like you're going to get eager service here, I don't think.

I want to go back and get more vintage shit!!
