Pours into the pint glass a clear golden straw color with a solid white one finger head that lingers. The dense head is creamy foam.

Subtle floral hop and cracker-like malt lead the aroma. There's a bit of grainy sweetness present.

Flavor is pilsner malt heavy, bready in the aftertaste. There's a hint of lemon and a slightly peppery, bitter finish batting cleanup. There is a bit of a metallic flavor as it warms.

Body is light to moderate, with moderate carbonation providing a refreshing mouthfeel.

A fairly non-descript brew, but easily drinkable and sessionable. Would be refreshing on a hot day.

330ml bottle poured in a ordinary glass.

Another review in the train... :) Now, a classic Czech Pilsener. I'm a fan of Czech Pilseners: They are simple, "hoppy" and usually refreshing.

A: Nice transparent gold to orange color with a nice and white 2-3 fingers head. Nice retention.
S: Malt and fresh-floral hops. Bready.
T: Fresh hops, malt and yeasts. Nice bitterness (of course, little bit more bitter than the German version). Refreshing as expected.
M: Nice bitter end (I like it) and good carbonation. Yeasts can also be felt in the end.
D: Good drinkability. Classic Pilsener.

Sampling right now on 7/14/14. Comes in a 500ml (16.9 ounce) bottle. Bottle chilled down to 36 degrees F in my beer cooler and poured into a handled glass "CHEERS-BOSTON" stein mug.

Pours a golden-yellow in color with about a 1/2 finger of a white head that settles to a thin layer on top and sides. LOTS of lacing is seen with each sip, close to rings actually. Very surprised! The aroma is mostly of malts with a hint of floral. Not 'skunky' really as most of the brews that come in a green bottle for some reason. Perfect carbonation. More going on with the taste with the malts, grains, breaddy yeast with a sweet crisp dry finish. More drinking of the brew brings out a light floral taste mixed in there as well. Overall, a decent brew.

Pale golden colour, just over one finger of white sticky-fluffy head, lots of lace left behind, honestly one of the best looking beers in recent memory. Smell is grainy and malty, grassy with some floral scents, lightly bitter hop and lemon rind. Taste is malty and grassy, lightly bitter, mild hop bite, lemon, good balance, clean finish, grainy aftertaste. Medium carbonation, light body and fairly thin feel leaves a bit to be desired. Nice and easy drinking, refreshing and enjoyable even if it is a little one dimensional and simple but sometimes that is all you are looking for.

This crisp, refreshing Czech lager reminds me of the time we spent in Prague.

I learned what true pilsners are, and how they can make a hot summer day more enjoyable.

On tap here in BRU in Phily, enjoyable, and reminiscent of a fabulous trip through Central Europe.

A: Light brass hue with a huge bubbly, frothy head; lacing is good

S: Some light skunking up front and followed by a crisp grassy and grainy quality--a touch musty with just a hint of lemon zest

T: Unfortunately, there is a bit of skunk; however, much less prominent in flavor than aroma; there is a pleasant grassy, hay-like graininess; some nice hop bitterness that comes out especially on back end: grassy, herbal, floral, and a touch of citrus

F: Crisp and well carbonated

O: A good pilsner that of course would be better fresh from the source--but still it's nice to drink a true pilsner every once in a while

Poured into Pilsner Glass...apple juice golden, with soft head, low carbonation...although held good lacing, & had laced rings to show each mouthful.
Floral grassy hops in the aroma, as it warmed definate honey caramel malty notes. I found this to mainly have the typical lighter lager aroma.
Felt just like a Pilsner - some malts up front, then rounded out with hop bitterness to finish...definately not too complex though.
Mouthfeel felt a little deadpan, could have done with more carbonation given the style. However in saying that I found the drinkability to be easy...like your run of the mill mainstream import, safe enough to want more...& that lingering bitterness was inviting!

Golden yellow in color with an amber hue. Poured with a short fizzy foam that quickly dissipated. Bready and caramel malt aromas are dominant with faint herbal hop and buttery notes. Medium bodied with a slightly oily feel up front followed by a light tangy feel through the middle. Burnt caramel and bready malt flavors up front followed by light herbal hop flavors that try very hard to produce a crisp snap that this style is known for, but it falls a bit short. Finishes with bready, caramel malt aftertaste.
