I have only one word to describe this beer. There is simply one word that will do. I tried to think of two words or maybe even three but I was trapped at one. That word, that one word that I shall use to describe this less than exciting offering from Portugal is not a long word, nor a short one. Its a medium length word. It is
Budweiser.

In local restaurant in Lisbon, pouring from a 330 ml bottle into a pilsner glass.
Foamed 2 inches that simmered down to light lacing of bubbles, with active bubbles rising.
Taste — hints of bread, yeast, soft pretzel.
Overall a solid Portuguese pilsner.
I could drink this again, but would probably not seek it out.

Pint can poured into a logoed 12 ounce plastic cup at Lisbon airport. Enjoyed with a fresh croissant.
Rich handsome foam on golden pond that edged down the cup nicely.
Smell is caramel roast grain. ‘Sweet’ stands over malty cereal.
Taste is surprisingly balanced and nuanced. It’s sweet and familiar, what with the adjuncts and all.
Feel is smooth with an air of creaminess. Medium carbonation.
Overall, a nice accompanient for whatever you’re doing. No problem here, other than it’s not ‘Super’, nor is a ‘Bock’.

Poured from 200mL bottle into a tumbler. Best by 5/2024.
Appearance: medium golden hue with a clear body and a thin layer of white foam that dissipates pretty quickly.
Smell: lightly sweet and a little grainy with a bit of an adjunct-y rough edge. It's not great, but it's fine.
Taste: like the aroma, there's a little sweetness here, but the adjunct-iness of it all makes this beer just kinda meh. It's reasonably inoffensive, but basically blah.
Mouthfeel: light body with a moderate carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: it's not the worst pale or adjunct lager out there, but it's definitely not the best.

Clear gold, white head, no retention.
Super clean aroma, mineral water, grain, slightly sweet.
Tastes perfectly balanced, good malt flavor, similar to canned Heineken. Probably northern brewer hops, finishes mostly dry.
Great mouthfeel, lower carbonation makes this one of the most crushable beers I’ve ever had. Best buy date 04/2024.
Not sure about the bad reviews, no skunk in mine at all. Never found a brown bottled beer skunked ever. Maybe if all you’re used to is some ultra light crap this might be too much for you. I love it.

330 ml bottle poured into a shaker style pint glass.
L: Brilliantly clear pale gold, 1 finger stark white head, fairly solid foam persistent and leaves bits of lace.
S: Very strong skunk to open, after it off gases a while grainy barley malt and green/floral hops are evident but skunk aroma never fully disappears.
T: Light on flavor, sharp and semi-dry, some grainy malt, grassy bitter finish, some hints of white grape.
F: Light body, highly carbonated, very crisp feel, cumulative astringent tongue coat, a bit on the harsh side.
O: Skunkiest smelling beer I've ever had from a brown bottle, below average flavor, below average feel, looks great, curious name.
