Our spin on a Belgian wit is a beer drinker's dream. Brewed with a pinch of coriander and a twist of orange peel, this is the perfect anytime ale. When served with a slice of citrus, it delivers a whirlwind of flavor and a crisp finish.

I believe my good friend and old neighbor from Oswego gave me a bottle of this beer. It poured a clear yellow with no head and no lace. The scent had faint orange peel notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with orange peel zest. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it's a decent beer.

I did not care for this beer. First of all, the aroma is off putting and there’s an over powering flavor of cloves that dominates, and I didn’t get any of the orange, taste or smell. The appearance is fine, slightly cloudy, straw colored as to be expected, and the head and retention were also fine. Maybe its the style, but I wouldn’t buy again or recommend this beer.

Poured a light golden orange, cloudy, with a moderate head that disappeared rather quickly. Minimal lacing. A mild spicy aroma. The most dominate taste is cloves. It's somewhat dry and tart.

12 ounce bottle - $1.99 at Total Wine & More in Kennesaw, Georgia.

Appearance: Pours a hazed, yellow-gold body with an inch of slowly-receding white froth and some suspended sediment noted.

Smell: A little finely-ground pepper, a little coriander and a welcome dose of fresh orange rind atop the base of lightly toasted malted wheat.

Taste: An opening of sweetish, honeyish wheat malt followed fast by a big burst of orangey citrusy fruitiness. A little tangy. Pinch of earthy coriander. The orange flavor and most of the initial sweetness carry you through the altogether crisp finish.

Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium-high carbonation for a lively, active mouthfeel.

Overall: RJ's WT is a crisp, easy-drinking, welcome wit.

Don't know if I got an old batch or not but this beer was just not my cup of tea.

Poured an light orange gold color with a thick white head that lasts a good while and leaves some lacing behind. Smells of wheat, citrus, hints of banana and hops. Starts out surprisingly tart with citrus then turns into yeast and some malt flavor. Feel is light and crisp with some carbonation that leaves a little behind. Overall pretty good beer that is a bit different then typical witbiers.
