Poured from the 12 oz bottle into a Sam Adams Perfect Pint glass.

A: The beer is a nice orange color that is unable to be seen through due to the cloudiness. Head was 1.5 fingers thick, slightly off white and had pretty poor retention.

S: Definite peach aroma right in your face. This is like canned peaches with the syrup, but a fresh aroma cuts through at times. Underneath there is a very slight bready or crusty malt that brings to mind a peach pie. Depending on the sniff, good or cloying.

T: Lighter on the peach than expected. Somewhat light bodied but this prevents it from being too cloying. Wheaty profile in the back like a middle of the road weizen. Malt profile is slight but brings a bit of balance into the mix.

Overall this is a refreshing beer that almost pulls everything together. It is a bit thin to be great, but definitely worth picking up on relaxing Southern summer day. (900 characters)

Appearance: Hazy gold.honey. Head is white and has almost no retention. Drops to a tiny cap and a slightly bigger, chunkier collar. Some vestiges of lacing.

Smell: Peach flesh, peach juice. Nice building fruit sweetness layered over a mild wheat tang. Almost smells like peach gummi rings. Juicy fresh fruit. A little bit of sugary sweetness. Nice balance of pale malts and wheat. A little grassiness as it warms up. Really all about the fresh peach goodness.

Taste: Mild grassy hops. Nice balance of wheat and pale malts. Cracker-like pale malts. Crisp breadiness. Peach flavor is less dominant than the nose would indicate. Nice fresh, juicy peach flesh plays up front and drops to the malt backbone in quick order. Incredibly clean. Some building earthiness as well.

Mouthfeel: Light, crisp, and refreshing. Moderate carbonation. Incredibly easy to drink.

Overall: You could do a lot worse when drinking this style with fruit.

Nice use of fruit. Balances well. Smells like deliciousness, but drinks a little shy of that goal. Bonus points for being refreshing. (1,068 characters)

A - Gold in color. Unfiltered. A lot floating around in there. Highly carbonated. Good amount of sediment in the bottom of the bottle.

S - Smells of fresh peaches.

T - I get the wheat and a good amount of peach flavor.

M - Feels great on the tongue. Light and refreshing.

O - One of my favorite summer time brews. I find it refreshing after cutting the lawn or relaxing on my patio. This years offering had a lot more floating around in my glass. Kinda weird watching those chunks working around in there. I look forward to this brew every summer. (552 characters)

Served this beer on tap, in a pint glass. Poured a cloudy, golden color, produced a nice white head, great retention and left ample amount of lacing on the glass. The aroma consists of malted wheat, and Peaches! Medium bodied, the base of this American Wheat Ale consisted of soft malted wheat, clover honey, and fresh Peaches. Sweet and semi tart, there is not any noticeable hop flavor. The Peach aroma is stronger then the taste- it actually is a very nice balance of peach and malted wheat. There is a fine line when adding fruit to a Wheat Ale and RJ Rockers did a good job of not crossing it with this ale. (612 characters)

I poured a bottle into a mug.

Appearance- Cloudy golden color with two and a half fingers worth of foamy head. Great head retention with a nice amount of lacing.

Smell- Nothing but peaches.

Taste- Peach and wheat flavor with a slight hoppy finish. The peach flavor is not as strong as the smell.

Mouthfeel- Medium bodied with a nice amount of carbonation. Very crisp.

Overall- A very good fruit beer. If you are a fan of this style then you must try this one. (464 characters)

A - Hazy golden orange color with a white lacy carbonation head.

S - Smells of Peach cobler

T - Taste is of peach puree with wheat and a delightful hoppy finish. Not IPA hoppy, but enough to know it's there. .Lingering peach flavor on the back end as well.

M - I would say it's medium to light bodied. Just the right carbonation .

O - This type of beer is not for everyone. The massive amount of peaches steers many away. I really like it. It is quite different, but refreshing. It packs a punch for it's style at around 6%. Not an overly fan of wheat beers, but this one works for me. (589 characters)

The beer pours a hazy yellow-orange with a giant foamy head that takes several minutes to settle. There was great lacing and retention before settling. There is heavy sediment and cloudiness. The nose is sweet with a huge amount of peach fruitiness. The taste doesn't follow the beer's nose with a slight amount of peach and a big amount of wheat and yeast. The mouthfeel is as expected, not too thick/thin, but there is an odd aftertaste that deviates from my expectations. I would probably drink this beer again, but I'd opt for an Ithaca apricot wheat instead. (563 characters)

12oz brown bottle. No freshness date. Pint glass pour.

Appearance: Murky orange, thin white head. Not much as far as retention. Little bits of lacing here and there

Aroma: Strong point of this here beer. Smeels like fresh peaches with a sweetness of peach and vanilla ice cream.

Taste: Wish the flavor came through as much as the aroma. Decent enough peach flavor, not artificial tasting. Balanced by a strong wheat and finishes with a slight hop bitterness. Okay. S

Mouthfeel: Medium bodied. Carbonation a little more. Not much of a finish. Tastes slightly artificial when it's all said and done. Still I gotta give it props for being a pretty decent beer in what I view as a somewhat bland style. (703 characters)

12 oz. bottle

Appearance: Pours a cloudy as hell orange/golden yellow color with a finger of a white head that dissipated quickly. Definitely unfiltered.

Smell: Best part of the beer. Smells of peaches or maybe a creamsicle. So good. I want to smell this forever.

Taste - Taste is all peach and wheat with a slight bitterness at the end.

Mouthfeel: Mouthfeel is light but it's good for the style.

Overall: One of the most interesting beers I've ever had. Not too big on wheat beers but this is really good. (513 characters)

Looks great, big pillowy off-white head, the beer itself is golden hued and theres a ton of little flecks in the beer too. Head retention is moderate, it stays up there for quite a while and when receding it leaves splotchy islands of foam on the edges of the glass. To style it's pretty damn good.

The nose is phenomenal, peaches utterly dominate with vanilla and an almost tumeric like character taking a back seat.

Taste was relatively disappointing, I was hoping the taste would moderately resemble the smell but it's hugely lacking the peach punch I was eagerly hoping for. Just some light peach an slight hop bitterness take the point.

Mouthfeel is light watery and lively. To style, it's spot on.

Overall in the nose department it's amazing and everywhere else it kinda falls off and disappoints. (808 characters)

This brew was served from the tap at The Ginger Man in Greenwich, CT. It arrived in a flared pint glass, glowing a sunburst orange, with darkened hues at the bottom of the glass. The head was one finger tall and creamy white, showing good retention. Thick, wet sheets of lacing stuck around the glass. There was a very thick haze throughout, with a film of sediment along the bottom, and carbonation appeared medium. The aroma was a fistful of peach!! This showed sweet sugariness, but also an uncanny freshness. With warmth this peach air became more similar to those syrupy canned peaches. The grain was wheaty, wet, and dirty with minerals. A final note of sweet buttercream topped the nose off. Our first impression was that the beer was more bitter than expected, but with all the peachy goodness we had hoped for. The flavor opened up with sweet, fresh peach, as in the nose, along with barley, wheat, and slightly adjuncty metallics. The middle peaked with syrupy candied peaches, mixing with bitter wheat, souring grain, and faint lactics. The end showcased more of that bitter wheat, with stone, sour lactics, grassy hops bitterness, and dirty earthiness. The aftertaste breathed of big wheat, more sour grain mash, and more of that faint bitter and grassy hop. The body was medium, and the carbonation was high, prickling the palate. A wet coating was left around the mouth, with no real drying quality. There was cooling sip, and mice frothy slurp and smack, and a pleasantly fresh creaminess. The abv was appropriate, and the beer was easy drinking.

Overall, what we enjoyed most about this brew was how authentic and robust the peach aroma and flavoring was. At no point did it feel synthetic or overdone. The nose sung of summer peaches and cream, while the taste followed through nicely with nice even sweetness, and a bitter finish at the way end. We wish that the sweetness had remained just a bit longer, to help better balance the sourness and bitterness of the final flavors. This is a highly refreshing beer, but due to the glorious peach insanity, this guy will remain for special occasions. (2,114 characters)

12oz bottle into a pint glass.

Pours a very hazy dark orange with some chunks floating around. Half finger head that quickly disappears.

The smell is actually pretty nice. Tons of peach with some bubblegum and banana.

Everything seems to go wrong on the taste. Some artificial tasting peach at first quickly followed by bubble gum and an band aid flavor. Wonder if this is infected? A mild hop bitterness cleans the palate on the finish.

Overall, I wasn't impressed. The odd medicinal flavor through me off. But even that aside, nothing seemed to meld together and the flavors were all over the place. Not a good effort. (624 characters)

I poured this beer into a pint glass, it has a nice hazy orange color body with a very small head that doesn't hang around long. The smell is like smelling a fresh peach, also with some faint wheat notes. The taste is of a nice peach flavor with wheat in the back ground. Also has some hop bitterness to it also. The mouth feel is great, goes down easy and is refreshing. Overall i think this is a nice and tasty summer beer. (425 characters)

A-Hazy glowing tan color..some lacing on glass

S-fresh real peaches...not too sugary or sweet smelling...

T-I was worried this was going to be one of those artificial super sweet flavored wheats...it is not...peach is evident on the taste and somewhat prominantly but this also has a bit hop bite, a splash of alcohol and very light pucker on the finish...

M-Medium bodied...dry on the finish...6% a bit high for my liking for a fruit wheat beer....

O-Glad I tried it. Above average....not bad but nothing I will buy again....would be a better beer at a lower ABV in my opinion... (584 characters)

Bought a 12 FL OZ bottle of this from the Wild Thing Cafe in Hilton Head Island, SC for $4.75. Poured from the Yellow Labeled bottle w/ an Angry Faced Peach on the front into a 12oz Hefeweizen Glass. Has no sign of a freshness date.

Aroma- A huge candied peach aroma is upfront. Delicious even on the nose! A wheat background hit the nose afterwards.

Appearance- Pours a .5 finger head that has average retention. Has a deep orange colored body with a nice glow to it. Leaves light lacing behind.

Flavor- Has a very artificial peach flavor but yet very candied at the same time. Wheaty background and seems to be filled with malt but a limited amount of hop. No bitterness.

Mouthfeel- Light Bodied, Medium-High Carbonation, Smooth, and a sweet, wheat filled background. The peach is a bit sour at the finish? Not quite appropriate for ANY style of beer with wheat involved.

Overall Impression- A decent brew by RJ Rockers but came a bit short in my books for this style. Too artificial and you can definitely find this in the mouthfeel... Would still order again because of its refreshing aroma and beginning of taste but not going to be on my top 100 list anytime soon. (1,177 characters)

Poured from a growler

A - Hazy, yellow with a light peach, orange accents to it. Had a small one finger head to it that settled down.

S - Smells like a peach ring candy with light wheat accents mixed in.

T - Frist there is a slight wheat flavors and bitterness. There are hints of the peach but not as much as is the nose. It has a bit too much of a bitter hints in the back end for my taste which seems a bit off balanced for the rest of the beer. I really wished it tasted more like it smelled

MF - Light carbonation with slightly watery mouthfeel.

O - An okay beer that isn't too bad on a hot summer day. The bitter flavors are a bit offputting and seem to make it have a bit of and off flavor. (703 characters)

12 ounce bottle. Served in a pint glass, the beer pours a cloudy golden/orange color with an inch off-white head that didn't stay around for too long. There's a small amount of lacing left on the glass. The beer smells mostly like peaches and peach syrup, and a bit of wheat. I like the aroma of this brew a lot. However, the taste isn't quite as nice. The peach taste seems more artificial to me, and there's a lingering bitter finish. Mouthfeel/body is light/medium, it's a bit slick and has a good level of carbonation. It's a decent enough brew overall. I think it's also overpriced at $10.99 a 6-pack, but I won't have any problems finishing it. I would buy this again, but just not at that price. (702 characters)

Strong aroma has a very firm overtone of peach - it really does smell like a freshly cut peach, and I love peaches! It has a wheaty hint as well. Pours a hazy, nearly opaque honey golden with a thick and rather persistent palest honey-tan head. Wheaty flavor has a firm and somewhat sweet, but not too sweet, overtone of peach. Got me thinking - is it possible to make peach cider or peach wine? Well, the Japanese make plum wine - pourquoi pas? OK, enough digression. Texture has good body and good fizz, definitely some peach in the finish. If you love peaches, you should love this beer. (590 characters)

A: A very cloudy orange color with chunks of yeast floating. Thin white head.

S: Almost smells like fresh peaches and cream. A nice wheat aroma to it also.

T: It almost tastes like an orange creamsicle with a little bit of peach mixed in. Finishes a little bit bitter and dry with a lingering peaches and cream flavor.

M: Very smooth mouthfeel with light carbonation. About as drinkable as it gets.

O: The flavors in this beer are very nice. If you like peach beers then I would recommend this one. It differs from others in the fact that it finishes dry which I like. Some others can be over the top sweet. (611 characters)

On tap at Barley's in Asheville

A - pours a hazy orangeish yellow with a thin layer of white head.

S - smells like peaches and a hint of wheat

T - wheat, peaches, a bit sweet, peach cobbler

M - light, smooth, little carbonation

This is a decent beer that's refreshing and easily drinkable. It's worth trying. (313 characters)

A: Pours a cloudy golden orange in color with a significant amount of sediment in suspension in the bottom half of the beer. The beer has a finger tall foamy off-white head that reduces quickly to a patch of thin film towards the center of the beer and a thicker ring at the edges of the glass. Very light lacing is observed.

S: The smell of this beer is great - strong aromas of peaches just like you would find at a farmer's market anywhere in the South in summertime. Wonderful peach sweetness...

T: The flavor of this beer is rather mild with some lingering bitterness. There is very little of the peach sweetness from the smell in the flavor and a light amount of wheat notes. Some light notes of peach which tastes quite natural, not artificial like you often find.

M: Light to medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation.

O: Light and easy to drink, along with being refreshing. I was a little disappointed by how light the peach flavors were though I appreciate the fact that the beer was not overly sweet or artificially flavored. The smell of this beer is very inviting. (1,091 characters)

A-Pours like mop-water. Very murky and hazed. Light crust of bubbles. Head dies down to nearly nothing.

S-An explosive whiff of artificial peaches. Smells like melted down Peach flavored Jolly Ranchers. Behind the whopping sugared peach aroma is a subtly pleasant combination of bread and spice.

T-The taste initially strangles the tongue with the peach flavor. However, the flavor dies down and segways into the beer's underbelly. Light spice and bready malt hides behind the peaches. Crisp underlying flavor helps to mellow out the rigid initial flavor of fake peach.

M-The body is fuller than most Fruit beers. Carbonation is not very intense. The feel works well with the beer's body and flavor profile.

O/D-Tastes better than it sounds. Wouldn't order it again. Would expect this Peach Beer to taste worse. (815 characters)

Appearance is a cloudy gold; the thick white head has good retention. The smell is very nice with a noticeable peach scent, perhaps a bit of lemon in the background. The taste has typical wheat beer flavors of lemon and coriander, but with a touch of peach as well to make it interesting. It strikes a nice balance; slightly sweet but not overly fruity. I haven't had too many fruit beers that I've cared for, but this one was very good. (437 characters)

A - Pours an extremely murky orangish golden amber color with very little head, but pretty good lacing for this type of beer.

S - Wheat, peach and yeast notes. Pleasant, but not strong.

T - Very, very peachy. A bit tangy and syrupy tasting. If you like peaches, this will be a great tasting wheat beer for the summer months. This gets better with every sip.

M - Medium bodied, great carbonation levels, a bit chewy, the peach flavors really linger on your mouth. I really wish I had more than one of these right now.

O - This one really surprised me. This is really tasty and a great summer-style beer. I really love peaches, so I look forward to having this one again. It's very peachy and could become one of my regular summer rotation beers, enjoy! (755 characters)
