An unfiltered American wheat ale made with real mean peaches. The only thing missing is the fuzz. Savor the anger. Available during the late Spring and Summer months.

Reviewed from notes:

appearance: orangish yellow with a 1 finger white head

smell: sweet, peaches, malts, citrus

taste: sweet, tart, peaches, malts,

mouthfeel: mild carbonation, medium body,

overall: a decent summertime beer especially if you like peaches. I had no problem finishing the bottle but if you don't like peaches you might want to stay away.

Cheers,
The CPJ

A: Poured from a bottle to a pint glass. Had a muddy orange color and a thick, cloudy consistency. There was a thin, foamy head that quickly dissipated and average lacing.

S: Smelled of peaches and a little note of wheat.

T: Like the smell, peaches dominated the flavor. Had a slight taste of wheat, but not much else. Reminded me more of a fruit/vegetable beer than an American pale wheat ale.

M: A decent amount of carbonation with a somewhat oily finish. Light-bodied.

D: A lightweight, drinkable beer, but not something I'd return to.

A - Color is a hazy peach colored amber. Head is a pretty good half inch with slight sticky lacing. Damn big chunks of sediment.

S - Smells like peach schnapps with a mild wheat backbone. Smells pretty good actually.

T - Well it actually doesn't have too much sweet taste more of a natural fruit skin kind of flavor. Tart and acidic with the wheat working into the flavor. Damn I wanted more sweet... Actually tastes like beer.

M - Medium bodied something about the body makes it hard to drink.

Overall well I can't get this locally and really don't want to drink it again. Was different that sweeter, artificial flavored peach beers.

12 ounce bottle. Served in a pint glass, the beer pours a cloudy golden/orange color with an inch off-white head that didn't stay around for too long. There's a small amount of lacing left on the glass. The beer smells mostly like peaches and peach syrup, and a bit of wheat. I like the aroma of this brew a lot. However, the taste isn't quite as nice. The peach taste seems more artificial to me, and there's a lingering bitter finish. Mouthfeel/body is light/medium, it's a bit slick and has a good level of carbonation. It's a decent enough brew overall. I think it's also overpriced at $10.99 a 6-pack, but I won't have any problems finishing it. I would buy this again, but just not at that price.

Served from tap into a standard pint. Poured a yellow-orange with one-finger white head that reduces and stays throughout. Maintains decent lacing. The aroma of this one is dominated by peaches. The flavor starts out with subtle peach with some grainy notes with the peaches intensifying upon swallowing. Overall, this is not my favorite beer from the RJ Rockers brewery. Has a nice peach followup that is quite crisp, but also has a poor flavor up front. It is not horrible, but I am not a fan.

A - Really hazy orange-yellow beer with a small white head that didn't leave anything on the sides. Lots of fine floaty stuff in there that actually makes the beer sparkle a little bit. Kind of neat looking.

S - Smells like a wheat beer with just the slightest bit of peach taste.

T - Starts out with some fruit taste that seems a little more apricot than peach. It's not a bad fruit taste, falls a little bit flat at the end, kind of a carbonated wheat that is pretty unfulfilling. I had low expectations so it's okay for what it is.

M - Medium bodied with some tongue-biting carbonation. A bit fuller than what I was expecting.

O - Passable, but not near the realm of "good" wheat beers. Would pass on this in the future.

Strong aroma has a very firm overtone of peach - it really does smell like a freshly cut peach, and I love peaches! It has a wheaty hint as well. Pours a hazy, nearly opaque honey golden with a thick and rather persistent palest honey-tan head. Wheaty flavor has a firm and somewhat sweet, but not too sweet, overtone of peach. Got me thinking - is it possible to make peach cider or peach wine? Well, the Japanese make plum wine - pourquoi pas? OK, enough digression. Texture has good body and good fizz, definitely some peach in the finish. If you love peaches, you should love this beer.

A-Hazy glowing tan color..some lacing on glass

S-fresh real peaches...not too sugary or sweet smelling...

T-I was worried this was going to be one of those artificial super sweet flavored wheats...it is not...peach is evident on the taste and somewhat prominantly but this also has a bit hop bite, a splash of alcohol and very light pucker on the finish...

M-Medium bodied...dry on the finish...6% a bit high for my liking for a fruit wheat beer....

O-Glad I tried it. Above average....not bad but nothing I will buy again....would be a better beer at a lower ABV in my opinion...

A-Pours like mop-water. Very murky and hazed. Light crust of bubbles. Head dies down to nearly nothing.

S-An explosive whiff of artificial peaches. Smells like melted down Peach flavored Jolly Ranchers. Behind the whopping sugared peach aroma is a subtly pleasant combination of bread and spice.

T-The taste initially strangles the tongue with the peach flavor. However, the flavor dies down and segways into the beer's underbelly. Light spice and bready malt hides behind the peaches. Crisp underlying flavor helps to mellow out the rigid initial flavor of fake peach.

M-The body is fuller than most Fruit beers. Carbonation is not very intense. The feel works well with the beer's body and flavor profile.

O/D-Tastes better than it sounds. Wouldn't order it again. Would expect this Peach Beer to taste worse.

A scant ¼ inch of head forms with even an aggressive pour. The beer is a cloudy dull amber color with some orange and brown highlights. Too cloudy to notice any carbonation. No lacing at all.

Smells like either cream soda or an orange/cream popsicle. Syrupy sweet. Would not pick out peach in the aroma if I didn't know.

Hmm, I think the flavor is more like orange and cream just like the aroma. I can't pretend not to know that this is brewed with peaches and it is fruity, but again, I get more orange/cream than anything else. There is a surprising bitter finish to the beer. I liken is more to orange peel vs. peach. But fruity none the less.

Mouth feel is more like soda with light carbonation. Bright/fresh. A bit sweet.

The drinkability is nice if you are looking for a hot summer beer. This is perhaps a gateway beer, but not really my style. Sometimes I buy single beers just to have fun/taste and review. Sometimes I am upset I didn't get more. This is NOT one of those times. Unless it's the only beer in the house, I'll never have this one again.

Appearance: 1 inch head, hazy, orange-brown in color, moderate carbonation

Smell: sour peach mix

Taste: peach, white grape, wheat, and light hops

Mouthfeel: sweet with light bitterness, light bodied with moderate carbonation

Overall: An above average peachy ale that has enough bitterness to balance out the fruit. Nothing groundbreaking, but I could see myself finishing off a six pack quickly during the warmer months.

Poured into a weizen glass.

4.0 A: Hazy light orange color. Creamy base, frothy topped head has good retention and leaves lots of lacing.

4.0 S: Oh boy are the peaches forthright. The only issue is that it seems very artificial, like the peach ring gummy candy instead of real peaches. Still highly enjoyable (those gummies are awesome). Too a much less extent, there is the wheat base.

3.0 T: Nothing special here. The peach that was so apparent in the nose barely shows up in the taste. The wheat, however, comes through just fine. With some refinement, this could be a very good and unique beer, but right now it's just okay.

3.5 M: Medium body. The body's a bit thicker than the style would like and the carbonation is a bit low.

3.5 D: I imagine this would be good on a hot day, but some others would be better.
