Poured into a Pint Glass

Appearance - Dark Hazy Amber with a 2 finger head. Really can't see any carbonation going on thanks to the haze.

Smell - Barley, Cherry, Malts, Wheat , and some mild floral hops. Smell is surprisingly mild, at least compared to the Sam Adams Cherry Wheat.

Taste - Cherry, Wheat, Floral Hops, Malts and Barley with a tart aftertaste. It's sweet but not in an overpowering sense and very well balanced. As it warms up, the cherry flavor begins to become more obvious

Mouthfeel - Light body and some light carbonation. It isn't crisp or refreshing to drink, but it is easy to drink

Overall - For a fruit beer, this is quite good! The flavor is nice and tart without being too sweet and it's very easy to drink. The flavor is not for everyone but for what it is, it's quite tasty

Pours clouded amber with an orange-ish tint. Dotted lacing sticks.

The smell is of cherry juice - with a slight tart touch.

The cherries land more "natural" than "artificial", though in a sweet juice way. There is a hint of tart in the finish.

It is rather watery. Slightly fizzy. Easy enough to drink.

Not one of the best fruit beers from Wisconsin, but better than some others out there. It's an average American Wheat with a cherry character that is a bit better than average.

Muted cherry tones make for a tolerable "fruit beer", not much backbone.

A: A fairly clear, medium copper colored beer with a light red hue. The head is made of low, off-white, fine bubbles.

S: A mild malt sweetness with some bready character and mild dark stone fruit notes.

T: A medium, juicy cherry flavor, somewhat like fresh juice not not all that fresh, mixed with a light, wheat malt sweetness. There is a light hops bitterness but it's mostly the tart cherries balancing the malt. The overall balance is lightly tart. The finish is medium with an aftertaste of cherries. There is a slightly odd flavor character blending throughout that I can describe that well but it's that funky that straight cherry juice has.

M: A medium bodied beer with medium strong carbonation.

O: A good fruit beer, cherries play the leading role here but they don't completely overwhelm the beer.

Had on tap at Milwaukee Hinterland. This beer is based on an American wheat, not Belgian or German, the cherry is not too intense, golden orange, fluffy slightly pink tinted white head, cherry aroma and flavors are laid back – not intense, mildly tart, can smell the wheat over the cherries, medium-light body, medium to medium high carbonation. Nice but somewhat bland.

Poured a nice copper/amber color with about an inch of fluffy white head on it.

Smell is heavy on he malt.

Taste is not too bad. Nothing amazing. I don't really pick up a lot of cherry flavor. Maybe a hint but really nothing special.

Mouthfeel is light and its a relatively smooth drinking beer.

Overall it's ok but pretty average. I would like to see some mote flavor in it. Not a bad beer but it's pretty decent.

Appearance:
Pours a hazy medium oak color with a rather lackluster head that withers away to a paper-thin film. Carbonation is next to non-existence.

Aroma:
I honestly can't decide if I like it or hate it. This may come as a shocker, but the dominant notes here are caramel malts and cherries. Tart cherries. Almost sour cherries. Very thick presence.

Taste:
Follows the nose. Tart cherries laid on a thick, caramel malt flavor. Reminds me of a can of cherry pie filling. Reminds me of an Octoberfest. I get zero wheat or grain characters - odd because the name explicitly calls it out. No noticeable hop presence either.

Mouthfeel:
Thick and smooth and pretty easy to drink. Tartness becomes more evident as the beverage warms. Carbonation is quite dull.

Overall:
Not a bad beverage, but not one I'd reach for again. Worth trying if for no other reason than to add it to your palate.

Poured from a pint size bottle into a pint glass.

Pours light amber, very clear, red/pinkish hue. Immense creamy white foam. My pour yileded 2 inches at least. Cherry nose, malty too. Taste is light fruity, followed by a burst of carbonation, and then tart cherries. That closing tart sour holds. Really firm in the mouthfeel. Perhaps a bit too fizzy. Balanced.

A nice, drinkable beer...tart at first...light cherry and wheat flavors...enjoyable, but I recall liking the Sam Adams' offering better.
