The dry hopping is really evident in the finish...delicious. Kinda tastes like a less sweet Hopslam.

Poured from a bomber bottle into a globe glass.

L - Medium gold color with orange highlights. Slightly hazy. Off white head is thick, sticky and persistent. Lots of lacing on glass.

S - Aroma is dominated by hops, which are grapefruity and earthy. Not much malt aroma, but there is a nose-tickling alcohol presence that implies high ABV.

T - The taste of fresh, grassy and grapefruity hops infuse the beer. There is a small earthy note to the hops, but not as apparent as in the smell. There is some low bready malt behind the hops. The finish is dry and hop-infused. Alcohol doesn't contribute to the flavors.

F - Medium body with smooth, moderate carbonation. Super high hops bitterness. Strong alcohol burn.

O - This is a strongly-flavored and aroma-ed beer that is all about fresh, citrusy hops. I personally would like a little more malt in a Double IPA, but it's tough to find fault in a beer this good.

Overall run of the mill beer. Mildly enjoyable taste with a lightness up front, but a strong alcohol burn on the nose and harsh aftertaste. Some pluses and some minuses make an overall average beer.

Very fruity on the nose and tongue. Easy drinker for the high abv. Does leave an intense alcohol taste in your mouth after a while. Glad to see Lengthwise stepping up their game!

Their best beer in my opinion, very bright citrus flavors and aroma yielding to very little bitterness. Dangerously drinkable for being such a big beer.

As the brewer told me, this is the product of a messed up batch of Zeus. Not much of the Zeus flavor remains, I even think they tweaked the malt a bit. The mosaic adds a characteristic that makes it stand out from all of Lengthwises other IPAs.
First sip is an earthy yet citrusy hoppy adventure. And on the back end you get a slight malt, not so much as to put you off, but enough to let you know this beer has a body.
All in all, I drink this at least weekly, spoiled by having a local brewery who really knows their IPAs.
