Poured in Bozeman in a standard pint glass.
L:
Amber color with a lite head
S:
Lite sweet smell
T:
Smooth, sweet, light hoppy taste. Little to no aftertaste that lingered
F:
Good full IIPA feel (as stated above) hit the bitter taste at first but had no aftertaste.

Overall a good DIPA/IIPA I had a while ago and was excited to see it back so I could rate it.

Served on tap in a pint glass
Appearance -. Served a golden amber color with a small white head. The head fades very fast to leave a little bit of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell - The aroma is big of tropical fruits of tangerine, pineapple, and mango with a nice caramel and bready aroma. There is a bit of a doughy and grainy taste that produces a nice aroma overall.
Taste - The taste begins with a tropical fruit flavor of tangerine and pineapple with a caramel and bready taste that has notes of pine and herb. As the taste advances the sweet fades a bit all while the the hop increases in intensity. At the end the taste profile leaves a a nice sweet and malty but nicely hopped taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel- The body of the brew is medium in thickness and creaminess with a carbonation level that is average. For the style, the feel is really nice and makes for a very tasty brew.
Overall - A tasty brew for sure and one to try of you have a chance.

not quite as mind blowing as the midas crush single ipa, but man oh man, this is really good. the hoppy stuff was definitely the most impressive of the map beers, and this one is really great. super fresh and intense all the way through, with heavy fruit notes wafting up though the thick white cream head. pineapple and melon and tangerine and pine and booze, its a lot to take in, but it makes my mouth water. resinous and fresh, such a cool complexion, i wonder what hops they use, it tastes almost concentrated like there is so much hops in here. almost allergic, makes me cough after a deep swig, bitter only in the end, and juicy all the way through, not too dry or sweet, minimal grain intereference, especially for a double, and again, majorly fresh and green. i was surprised by how aggressive this comes across, and how different, especially compared to some of the more tame and conservative offerings here at map, but this is just killer ipa. drinks way too easy for its strength, but you sure can feel it after a couple of them! i loved this, very distictive hop complexion. great beer.

Gold to pale amber draught pour with off white head; decent cap and lacing; excellent clarity. Pine and citrus hop nose. Lite caramel malt base, pine and lite bitter lemon notes. Medium lite mouthfeel and moderate minus carbonation. Well balanced with lite bitter linger.
