Great place to find michigan seasonals - but don't go for the allocated stuff. You are paying through the nose. A lot of things are conveniently not labeled and the receipts are also random numbers. Louie is a really nice guy, but not a beer drinker.

Really good shop for bourbon and whiskey.

They will give you a discount if you purchase enough, which is nice and what every shop should be doing. Tons of selection and a nice new cooler. Go there for the Blackrocks new seasonal, not for KBS or Hopslam.

It's a good store to stop in and dig back into the shelves to see what's hiding.

Doesn't look like much from the outside, sitting on the corner of a strip mall, almost hidden behind a gas station. The facade is crammed with signage, making the storefront look even smaller than it really does.

Walking inside is a Potterish experience. What looks like a small, insignificant liquor shop from the outside opens to a sizable store with tall ceilings and tightly placed rows of wine and beer. It's reminiscent of ancient library stacks but packed with bottles. Huge selection of Belgian Ales, more than I've seen available at one location in the metro area. Same goes for the singles selection. Several coolers are given over to singles, both local and national. Beer cave is given over to six packs and variety packs. Comparing pricing on regularly available beers was competitive, but be careful with limited runs. I visited during Hopslam's release, and they were selling it for $20, 22 a six pack when it could be found at local grocery stores for $15. So look out for a bit of gouging on the limited stuff.
