what can be said best abot this beer its the "KING" of Macro Beers.
What can I say this is a nice hot day summer beer. PBR was a shocker to me when I first tasted the smoth clean taste. Mush betther then a high life or a budweiser.
A- golden yellow with a thin head
S- Not much smell just a little hint of hops
T- Taste is smooth no bitterness with a just a hint of hops at the end.
M- crisp a clean
D- This is an all day football drinking beer or a good party beer.
I have on a PABST kick no for several weeks and its hard to get off of it. I must say for having more the 50 different selection to choose from I go for a PABST first.

This beer is a quality beer if you aren't looking for anything special. A two finger head when poured, but that quickly disappears. When you drink it is tastes alright, but you will quickly discover that the after taste is the biggest downfall of this beer.

My 1000th review! I tried getting Westvleteran 12, but since that failed, I decided to go Old School. Somehow, I had never had this.
Serving glass: Poured from can into Frankfurter.
Appearance: Clear straw color with good sized, bubbly head.
Smell: Straw, pepper and dried out apple. Dry and spicy overall, without much noticeable adjunct aroma. Much better than expected.
Taste: At first, it tastes pretty damn good, with straw, hay, pepper and spicy hops. Almost could be a German Pilsner, but then a lingering corn aftertaste makes it clear that this is the bastard child of the Pilsner - the Adjunct Lager.
Feel: Crisp and effervescent. Light bodied. Would be dry if not for the aftertaste.
Overall: Good for an Adjunct Lager, especially at the price. It is too bad that the corn aftertaste messes up what is otherwise a surprisingly good beer.

Pabst Blue Ribbon (PBR) 16 oz can $1.29(OH)
16 oz can poured into a stemless white wine glass. Drink before date printed on the bottom.
Pours a straw yellow color. A two finger white head that goes away with a quickness. Minimal to no lacing is left on the glass. An endless stream of bubbles shoot towards the surface. Just by looking this brew is way over carbonated.
The aroma is very light. light malts, and an adjunct smell of corn.
The taste is light and crisp, Kind of an apple taste. followed by a corny taste. finishes smooth with a dry grape like taste. Hardly any taste at all, so it is smooth.
mouth feel is very light. over carbonated. Any taste is gone seconds after i swallowed.
Overall this is Your typical adjunct lager. I normally don't review brews like this but after reading in some forums that PBR was a preferred cheap beer i thought i would try it. Waste of time. Its your typical corny american adjunct lager.
