- Pabst Blue Ribbon is brewed in the finest traditions of an American Premium Lager dating back to 1844. Brewed with a combination of 2 & 6-row malted barley, select cereal grains and American and European hops, Pabst Blue Ribbon is fermented with a proprietary lager yeast. Our unique fermentation and maturation process results in a smooth, full bodied beer with a clean, crisp finish with a fine noble hop aroma.

No head or lacing with this one. Clear golden body. Neither interesting or exciting. Aroma is mild and mosty smells of fresh picked sweet corn. Some light malt. Flavor is more on the malt side and less on the sweet corn side. Light body and medium to high carbonation. Refreshing and very drinkable but not a good beer.

due to recent economic factors i have been
forced to look into 'cheap' beers.

have been drinking ,on occasion, shitty light beers and saw a few reviews for PBR that were decent so thought i would buy a case ($17).

im not gonna get into any of the typical taste, smell crap w/a beer like this.

this beer is not a craft beer. but its a hell of a lot better than the light beers out there.

its also better than the miller, bud, coors etc.

its got a full mouthfeel that is smooth and malty. not bad for the money.
