Thanks to resi for the trade.Poured from a 12 oz. can. Has a pale yellow color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is mild, some corn. Taste is good, sweet, malts and corn, considerable bitterness for an adjunct lager. Feels light in the mouth and has good drinkability. Overall this is a decent beer.

Drank from a 12 ounce glass bottle. Scores are based on the style.
Look - A fantastic classic and classy looking logo. Looks exactly like a beer should.
Smell - Sweet grains with a mild earthiness beyond it. Not much, but more than nothing.
Taste - Starts off worryingly sweet, but quickly transitions to a pleasant and mellow bittersweet.
Feel - A nice creamy mouthfeel that I don't think I've ever gotten from an AAL before. This is a great beer to drink.
Overall - For a beer I've never heard of before tonight, I'm incredibly surprised and pleased. This is honestly really good, and I hope I can find it more easily around my area.

L: brilliant straw gold permeated with streams of rapidly rising bubbles under a frothy 2" white foam collar with fair to poor retention
S: Moderately low DMS (canned corn), traces of sulfur, and a hint of corn sweetness lead the aromas
T: Light corn sweetness and light cracker flavors dominate. Hops are low allowing a residual sweetness to remain with traces of DMS and faint apple
F: light and moderately creamy with above average carbonation and a very slight touch of astringency on the finish
O: light with a faint dash of flavor that is not potent enough to completely hide the fermentation character

Stag is a very popular beer in my area. It is a solid AAL beer, great taste, clean finish with no bad aftertaste, and the best part is it is cheap! Considering the taste and the price, it is 5!
