Served in a pint can: "Authentically kraeusened."
A: I'm drinking it out of the can for this review but the last can I had I poured into a pint glass. Very pale yellow with a slight, bone-white head.
S: Relatively unpleasant grain. Slight alcohol.
T: Much better than the smell. Perfumy, sweet grain. The sweetness is a little corny. Ghost of hops, barely there. The grain taste is pleasant and big enough to escape wateriness.
M: Very low carbonation, but the body is slightly thicker than most AALs. Slightly. No alcohol.
O: Pabst makes some of the most tolerable AALs, including Old Style. The grain taste is just enough to make it worth it when it's very cold. Not that bad.

I'm giving it a 5 because this is my all time favorite beer! Heileman's Old Style! I Love this beer! Wrigley Field staple for over 65 years. I drink nothing but (well, with exception of one other) when I'm in Chicago. I wish it was sold in more states than just the Upper Midwest. Out of all the "retro" adjunct lager beers in the Pabst Portfolio, this one is still the best!
