Best by 1/5/15.

Pours a clear gold with a foamy off-white head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Foamy streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, grain, cooked vegetable, and sugary aromas. Taste is much the same with grain, corn flake, and sugary flavors on the finish. There is a very mild amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a below average beer that is fairly drinkable, but there is definitely a strong element of sugar and corn flakes that I am getting from this one.

Serving type: can.

Sentimental value ups its score; it reminds me of the five months I spent in Oregon. Not a great beer, but highly drinkable when you aren't feeling (beer)snobbish.

Olympia - "it's water".

But just like pizza, most "bad" beers are still drinkable. I'll drink the shit out of a free keg of this.
