A-poured into a frozen pilsner glass-its straw yellow, a few shades darker than water with a fizzy white head that dissipates immediately

S-typical generic "beer" nose, kind of musty and malty

T-It is slightly sweet from the malt with a nice crisp finish, with just a hint of hops. It doesn't have that thick huskiness to it like PBR which causes it to have less taste but it seems more crisp and clean, which I enjoyed. For an AAL I thought this tasted good and was very refreshing.

M-Thin and watery but it has a nice carbonated crispness to it.

D-I could drink this all day, its crisp and clean and for the style its pretty good.

Overall, this is one of my favorite versions of the style, which is why I gave it a 4 in the overall category even though my ratings would suggest otherwise. Its not as good as Schlitz Gusto, but to me it is more enjoyable than most of the others in the category. Its also cheap, which is nice.

For all of the AAL`S Iv`e tried, I like this one the best! I`m not going to get technical in describing characteristics and so forth, no need to. I love how satisfying, and crisp and quenching this beer is! Nuff said!!!

As a college student, it's been a popular pick-up for parties and for Marylanders for years. Something good for the regular folk. If you're looking for a bud light or Coors alternative, then Boh is the way to Goh!

I can only drink this when I'm really drunk, and that's when I realize I can't drink anymore because there's a foul taste in my mouth.

Ahhh Natty Boh - my Hometown Hero.

Enjoyed this out of a pint glass at home in Baltimore, MD.

A: Golden with a thin white head that quickly clears.

S: Not much aroma here. Faint scent of grains and malt.

T: Corn, malt, and mild hops.

M: Medium carbonation, not too bad, not too good

O: Refreshing yet gritty, it's Baltimore in a can. Nuff said.

A- Pours with a big head that falls into a nice rocky one finger layer with some lacing. Almost no carbonation bubbles coming through but other than that looks like most adjunct lagers with just a shade darker coloring.

S- Corn sweetness and a bit of metallic off aroma, I want to like it but I can't.

T- Certainly better than the smell with no metallic off taste and only a small amount of corn. Definitely some sweetness and no hops to balance it, but not the worst.

M- Less thin and watery and also with lighter carbonation than most in the style. This one feels a bit more like a beer than the tonic water.

D- Not a very good beer. If you're in Baltimore you might be obligated to have one, outside of that it's not much better than your standard lager past the looks and mouthfeel.

Perfect beer for a hot Baltimore July afternoon. In any other situation, it is at least as good as it's big brand peers. Serve as cold as possible. Let's go O's!

I had the version brewed specifically for the Baltimore Orioles in ther tall boy.

Clear bright gold in color, it looks like any adjunct I've ever had, though not as pale as some. The white head is small, frothy, and moderately lasting. Left on top of the beer for most of the duration is a foam that leaves some spotting.
There are some fruity esters in the aroma with some yeast and grains as well as an odd, softer sort of sweetness along with green apple skin. Pale malts make a decent base.
The flavor has a bit more corny husk, but otherwise the pale malts, grains, and fruity esters are all here. There seems to be some diacetyl, and it's a little too strongly vegetal.
The feel is okay; it's got the crispness and is reasonably clean in its appropriately light body, without too much slickness threatening.

This is a fine example of an American Adjunct Lager (AAL). Granted AAL is far from my go to style, near the bottom in fact, however measured against style, this is a VERY good beer. For those keeping an open mind and not having the expectations this is something it's not, this is certainly worth a try!

Served on tap at Buffalo Wild Wings.

A: Looks like piss. Thin, yellow color.

S: Smells slightly malty, maybe a little skunky and sour.

T: Actually, this is not that bad at all. Clean, biscuity and malty. Not what I was expecting. Tastes crisp and refreshing.

M: Bubbly, soda like feel. Not unpleasant given the crispness of the taste.

O: Not half bad, can't say that I don't like it. As a Maryland resident, Natty Boh is a requirement. Watching sports and eating wings at BDubs certainly aided the drinking of this beer. If I were to sit down and drink this in a blind taste test I certainly would not be impressed. Nevertheless, there are beers for different atmospheres and this is great for Redskins & Wizards games. Better than BMC for sure.

Review from notes.

A: Pours a light, gold/straw color with a small fizzy head that is gone rather quickly. No real lacing either.

S: Not a ton going on, some sweet adjunct and light grain. Nothing off-putting though.

T: Not bad at all, for an adjunct at least. Some corn and light grainy malt, but again rather mild.

M: Light bodied with medium carbonation.

M: A sweet flavor lingers throughout. It's not craft but it'll do.

O: For the style, really not bad at all. Easy drinking and refreshing. A good substitute for the watery light lagers out there.

Oh, oh, Mr. Boh....

From the stank of the treatment plant in Dundalk, to the freshly manured fields in Hereford....from the cross-eyed beauties in Rising Sun, to the same in Arbutus. All aroun' Balmer, hon. Goin' to see the O's....looking for my Natty Boh's.

Crabs and Boh....the two biggest reasons to come to Balmer. Not that I'm biased, but this is the best macro out there. Clean, crisp, perfect compliment to Old Bay.

It's gotta be from a bottle though. Pours yellow, normal macro color, with a thin white head. Rice and corn on the nose. Don't let this beer get warm or you can actually smell the Dundalk treatment plant. Watery with loads of carbonation. Great lawmower quality.

A real thirstquencer that I always keep in stock. Sometimes it's hard to find bottles though because popularity among the masses has skyrocketed around here.
