poured from the 12 oz bottle into my new belgium goblet:
A; Dark honey colored. Sufficinet but non-impressive head, but leaves a nice sticky lacing.
S; NICE citrusy hops to the nose.
T: Very nice hoppy bite but just a bit bitter.
M: nicely done, not heavy but complex enough.
D: overall an IPA but not the best of them....

*not drinking it as I write and no notes, so I am going on memory.*
Appearance: Hazy amber with a khaki-colored head that was fairly thick and hung around for awhile.
Smell: All hoppish (new word?) aromas. Floral, citrusy, piney, a little spicy... Refreshing and clean smell.
Taste: The smell leads you in... It is strong on the hop flavor. Though, there is plenty of depth to the taste. Lots of bitterness and earthiness and some citrus notes. Big flavor and stays interesting.
Mouthfeel: light to medium-bodied.
Overall: I have had this brew a few times and it has impressed me each time. I really enjoy it and will purchase in the future...often. Best (or my favorite) of the Victory brews except for maybe the Wild Devil.

This was just a very cool beer to see in Vienna.
A - Orange, amber, creamy head which left some nice lacing and lasted the entire beer
S - Pine, Citrus zest, hops, bit of burnt sugar
T - Right off the bat, hops and grapefruit rind and citrus zest, a bit of malt sweetness to balence it out and a clean crisp bitter finish
MD - Very nicely carbonated, smooth and creamy

Pours amber with a decent head retention and better lacing.
Aroma is spicy, pepper, pine nuts, citrus and also pick up some sweet maltiness.
Taste leads with hop bitterness, piny nuts. Smooth but strong spicy dry hops are strongest but some maltiness is present.
Good drinkability, great with Bar B Q ribs.

A - Deep amber color with a 2 finger head of white foamy cream. Very good lacing.
S - Good amount of citrus with a touch of pine. There is a hint of some caramel. Complex aroma.
T - Upfront there is a lot of citrus grapefruit. Strong bitterness, and a low amount of sweetness, very alkaline.
M - Medium body with average carbonation. Smooth.
D - Good drinkability. Good hop flavors, and pretty well balanced. Very tasty beer.
Serving type: on-tap

A beautiful fiery orange color with an enormous white head that sticks around with clumpy lacing.
Smells Hoppy with bran like malt. Yum.
Floral hops and delicious malty flavor. Tastes like a double but a little more lite.
Kind of thin yet creamy but with a decent amount of foam. Dry finish.
Probably could only have a few...too filling.
I wanted to rate this beer lower but honestly it is quite the tastey beverage. Yummy yum.

A: Hazy blood orange with a stubborn 2-finger bone white head. Gobs of lace around the inside of the glass.
S: Floral hop aroma, grapefruit, conifer cones.
M: Smooth and creamy, full bodied.
T: Strong hop flavor with nicely balanced caramel malts. The hops are quite spicy, but never threaten to overwhelm. Crisp finish with the requisite hoppy aftertaste.
D: Really refreshing, something that I would strongly recommend.

A - Deep hazy amber-orange color with a good sized white, foamy, and creamy head. Good retention with a nice lacing left over.
S - Good amount of citrus and other golden fruit along with a touch of pine. This is matched almost equally with some caramel and bready malt smells. Very well balanced aroma.
T - Similar to the smell and very well balanced. Upfront there is a lot of citrus (both orange and grapefruit) along with some other golden fruit (some apple, apricot, melon, and slight peach). Then some caramel and bready malt flavors start to come out more. The flavors come together and give a sweet candied fruit taste. Toward the end, there is some pine taste that comes out. No real bitterness, and a good amount of sweetness, even though there is a good amount of the hop flavors.
M - Medium body with average carbonation. Smooth and coats the mouth and slightly drying.
D - Very good drinkability. A lot of hop flavors, and pretty well balanced (slightly more sweet/malt taste). Very tasty beer that I enjoyed drinking.
Notes: ABV = 7.0%. Very good IPA that is very tasty. Had it at the Känguruh Pub, and it was a very nice surprise in Wien.

A - Poured with a two-finger thick slightly egg shell colored head...pretty frothy and left chunky lacing throughout the sample.
S - Some bready/sweet maltiness followed by very prominant citric and cedary hop aromas. Powerfully bitter, but balance well.
T - Great hop bitterness comes over the palate first and it is a bit earthy, citruisy, and piney at different points. Very nice complexity for the style. Good malt balance, but doesn't come close to rivaling the hops
M - Medium MF, muted carbonation and more than coats the palate.
D - Pretty high considering the dearth of flavors along with the high hop factor. A little less aggressive than it's US namesake
Overall, pretty fantastic brew and slightly more complex that Victory's Hopdevil, though less assertive. Nice stuff, and highly recommend when at 1516.
