Appearance:

This spring seasonal pours a brilliant clear ruby brown with just a hint of white head on top.

Smell:

Can you say malts? If not, you sure can smell them in the nose. Super sweet, with maybe a hint of hops, but it is drowning in malt.

Taste/Mouthfeel:

Deliciously smooth, and resoundingly sweet. Malts take center stage here, and reign supreme throughout. Very indicative of the bock style, though a tad too sweet. An enjoyable, easy to drink brew.

I'm guessing it to be a Spring Seasonal due to the "Limited Release" statement on the cap, and blurb about spring on the side of the label.

Medium brown with a thin tan head that quickly recedes to the edges. Aroma of sweet malty goodness, so far so good. First sip was nice, malty and just enough bitterness for balance. The aftertaste was very bitter and I though I had yet again fallen prey to a hoppy american bock, but it was a false alarm, it was just that first sip. Overall the beer was quite malty with enough bitterness for balance. A good bit of sweetness, hints of toffee, and just a bit roasted with a medium to medium light body.
