Served in a pub glass. Pours a light pale yellow with small white frothy head that thins quickly into a small ring. No lacing. Large amount of tight carbonation throughout drinking.
Smells: Mild wheat, primarily yeasty/bready smell. Light banana, clove, and citrus. I'm not sure if I smell ginger or not.
Tastes as smells. Tastes more yeasty than anything. It is very light on the banana, clove, and citrus tastes. It came off of as a lightly flavored wheat beer than a hefe. I also taste a vague corn syrup taste. The clove and banana come through as clove oil and banana oil, almost an afterthought.
Mouthfeel/drinkability: Light bodied, pleasant light oiliness and lightly dry citrus finish. I would have preferred a little more body and mouthfeel from this beer. Easy to drink; easy to session, but if you looking for a good, serioud hefe, you probably will be disappointed. Good lawn mower beer though.
This is by far the worst Brooklyn Brew that I've had. I can't seem to stop drinking the others to sit down and geek them (especially the stout.)

Much more of a berliner-weisse than a hefe.
Delicious and thirst-quenching nonetheless. I could drink this out of a camelbak all day at the beach.
Nice citrusy sourness, but quite clearly toned down for the american masses from the original style.
Brilliant golden color with a slight haze, almost green around the edges.
this is a beer to buy a six pack of for a hot summer day. could be very fun with a dash of grenadine in another 'brooklyn/berlin' twist.

Review from notes
Hazy golden yellow with a scant head. Where's the giant fluffy head I expect from wheats? Anyway, smells like wheat, hint of floral/grassy hops, some tangerine peels, and pale malts.
Feels light and bubbly. Not big on this. So yeah, onto the next one.
