Poured a slightly cloudy, deep, golden orange with a good foamy head. The scent of citrus and honey stand out, tiny hint of spice and the expected banana.
The citrus continues on into the flavor, more lemon than orange. It is a smooth easy going beer. There is a lot going on but none of it is overpowering, just refreshing, nice.
Mouthfeel is good, not sticky and sweet.
No complaints here, I am a fan of the white brews and this is a decent one.

The beer pours a hazy golden color with a lacey white head. The aroma is great. It smells of fruity esters and sweet wheat malts. The taste is average. It has a watery feel and falls short of many hefes I had before. It is unfiltered so it has the yeasty flavor, but I still think it's a weak example of this style. The mouthfeel is fine. This is a medium bodied ale with very little carbonation. This beer drinks fine, but is a disappointment for experienced wheat beer drinkers.

Pours a deep, cloudy yellow color with thin-to-no-head, and what head I did have in my glass disappeared almost immediately.

There's a nice yeasty, slightly lemoney scent to the beer. The taste is quite light, and mostly of wheat, with hints of yeast. I also noticed a slight hoppy aftertaste, but not much else was going on in my mouth. I was hoping for some bubblegum/ester/banana/clove notes (as I usually enjoy in my hefeweizens), but they were noticeably absent. The beer was fairly easy to drink, but a bit thin and too simple for my tastes.

Beautiful bright gold with a small off white head. Lots of tropical and banana esters. Typical hefeweizen nose. Bananas, good fruity flavors dominate the palate. Good, crisp, slightly sweet finish. Very nice. Light but flavorful mouthfeel. Slightly short on the finish. A very well done hefe. Not as funky as other offerings. Crisp and flavorful throughout. Good example of the style, IMO. Definately worth a try.

Pours a light hazy gold with a thin head. Nose is on the sweet side, a bit syrupy.

Taste is lightly malty and sweet. Hints of lemon citrus and honey wheat amid a light grassy nature. Bready, not too much of a yeasty nature, more of a cream ale flavor with a lemon wedge.

Mouthfeel is thick and heavy but the sweetness makes it go down easy. I could see how this would be great for a hot summer evening, very refreshing. This should be classified under Berliner weisse instead of a hefeweizen as I think that was the brewer's intent. Thanks to AKSmokedPorter for this sample.

Great looking bottle, standard of the Brooklyn line-up. The Weisse is a bit harder to find than the other Brooklyns like Lager and Monster Ale. Pours out an inch high head. Smells of coriander and banana with other spices lingering. Taste follows suit. Spicy herbs with ripe banana and coriander. Very smooth and un-bitter, but the tastes linger on the tongue long after the beer's gone. Overall, a delicious tasting beer, but I'm not a huge fan of the banana-flavor. It doesn't rank too high on my list of favorite Brooklyns.

Pours a cloudy gold color with white head that doesn’t last too long. Aroma is of citrus and bananas. Taste is garden-variety hefeweizen...clove and banana. Mouthfeel is a bit on the thin side. Not a bad effort, but something is lacking that keeps it from being with the Weihenstephaners and Franziskaners. Still, pretty high on the drinkability scale.

Uhoh, judging by this and my last review of a hefe, I think I may be a convert. Or in the process at least. But for the life of me, it is the appearance of a hefe I can never get over. Cloudy brown with a foamy head. I think it is the cloudiness. I liked this hefe, because even though it was wheaty, the wheat was not overpowering the hops. The hops were there, a nice sweet addition to the wheat. There were also hints of lemn and orange in the beer. Another thing that I liked was how the bartender put the lemon on the edge of the glass rather than swueeze into it the beer. The added lemon taste had a more subtle quality.

Appearance: Pours a hazy, orangey body with a small, frothy white head.

Smell: Mild aroma of spiced bananas, wheat dough, and teaspoon of sea salt, and a slight yeast character.

Taste: Somewhat tangy malted wheat flavor with just a touch of breadiness to it. Taste of saltines. Some tastes of bananas and spice with a sip of spring water to wash'm down. Light, fleeting bitterness. Finishes tangy and crisp. Everything you'd expect from a hefe is there, just dialed down considerably.

Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation. Watery mouthfeel.

Drinkability: Though all around mild, it's still a fine lil' hefe.
