Served from the cask at d.b.a.'s in NYC. Cask was tapped the day before. Standard pint glass.
Appearance: A clear honey colored topped off with a decent 1/2" of nice frothy bubbles.
Smell: Nice floral and piney aromatic hops that were detectable from about 2 feet away. Slight malt presence on the nose.
Taste: Sweet malt flavor at the onset followed by a modestly powerful hoppiness. Not overwhelming to the point of making a hophead jump for joy, but still pretty strong for the style. Slightly bitter and salty on the finish.
Mouthfeel: Slight puckering and drying sensation. Light to medium bodied.
Drinkability: Quite drinkable for the style. A very good example of an IPA. I'll be looking for the non-cask conditioned version around my area.

Nice english IPA of a hazy orange/ocher color that goes to a yellowish tone in the corners of the glass. Foam is ok.
Smell and taste are full of citrus, specially lemon, orange and grapefruit. Pear and apple tones also appear and that makes this beer quite juicy. Maltiness, bitterness and hoppines are at an ok level but could be higher, specially maltiness.
Body is ok too. Didn't enjoy the mouthfeel too much because of the acidity that comes in corners of the lips.
