Presentation: 12 oz. amber bottle with no way to discern freshness dating (concern is noticeable on OFS's face as the label clearly instructs him to drink this beer before the freshness date indicated...). Kudos to AKSmokedPorter for providing this in a beer trade.
Appearance: Poured a lighter-than-expected amber color with a fizzy white head that quickly reduced to a micro-thin layer. Not much lacing of the glass to speak (note to self: make sure beer glasses are *CLEAN*).
Smell: Very minty-fresh, with lots of floral and citrus scents to tantalize the nose.
Taste: Clearly, in the case of "Hops v. Malts", the hops win. And that's why I like it. Hops = good. Malty sweetness barely present, and half-hearted at that. The entire tasting, from beginning to end, is hops.
Mouthfeel: Above average carbonation and crispness of the hops leads to a better than average mouthfeel. Also above average body.
Drinkability: Surprisingly smooth and quaffable. The higher ABV of 7% is well-hidden, leading to the ease with which one could have another, and another...
Overall, I really liked this one. Nice and dry, with a generous hoppy smell and flavor.

Nice english IPA of a hazy orange/ocher color that goes to a yellowish tone in the corners of the glass. Foam is ok.
Smell and taste are full of citrus, specially lemon, orange and grapefruit. Pear and apple tones also appear and that makes this beer quite juicy. Maltiness, bitterness and hoppines are at an ok level but could be higher, specially maltiness.
Body is ok too. Didn't enjoy the mouthfeel too much because of the acidity that comes in corners of the lips.
