While I had tasted this many times before, it was last night's version on tap that wowed me as it seriously complimented the Indian Food I was having at The Curry Club of East Setauket, NY.
My local beer group descended upon the restaurant to find it empty and my pint full of the Brooklyn East IPA. It's orange and hazy colors looked unusual in my glass and the aroma of light hops really was low key compared to the usual American hop-bombs that exude only hops without much else.
The taste of oranges, apricots, and grapefruit came alive with the blonde malts as we dove into one pint after another. I must have stopped around 7 pints, but it was almost magical in its taste. It certainly subdued the spicy flavors of the platters we had.

Nice english IPA of a hazy orange/ocher color that goes to a yellowish tone in the corners of the glass. Foam is ok.
Smell and taste are full of citrus, specially lemon, orange and grapefruit. Pear and apple tones also appear and that makes this beer quite juicy. Maltiness, bitterness and hoppines are at an ok level but could be higher, specially maltiness.
Body is ok too. Didn't enjoy the mouthfeel too much because of the acidity that comes in corners of the lips.
