Poured into a Sam Adams turbulator glass. Color is slight amber with moderate carbonation. Smallish head with minimal lacing.
Aroma is primarily faint brown sugar and malt with notes of tangerine and flowers. Almost a sweet tart smell.
Initial taste is fruit and lightly toasted malt. The taste bends a bit with a shot of cream and finishes with dry, piney hops. The feel is surprisingly crisp.
A decent representation of an EIPA and appreciate the balance throughout the experience. A definite choice as a starter IPA for those seeking to indoctrinate.
