Served in a tulip glass, poured from a 12 oz. bottle.
A - A nice hazy dark amber with a soft, fluffy head that comes down with nice lacing into a thin collar of off-white around the edge.
S - Not much here, but it is good. Floral hops mostly with some acidity in the backing.
T - Good balance of hops and malt with a very clean finish/aftertaste. Somewhat biscuit-like. Not very complicated, but still tasty.
M - Definitely not thin, but not syrupy. Carbonation is subtle and it feels just a little weighty on the tongue.
D - Very drinkable. Definitely good for having a few at the bar.
Overall - I haven't met a Brooklyn Brewery beer I didn't like, and this is no exception. While not terribly complex, it's a well balanced and tasty brew that will likely become part of my regular refrigerator standbys.
