Poured a crystal clear deep amber-red with a two finger off white foamy head which faded to leave a thin cap over the top. Excellent sticky lacing left along the glass. This is what I want a beer to look like.
Aroma is not very strong but there is a slight bitter to the smell similar to the grapefruit you would get from hops but without the added citrus. Very slight bread smell in there as well.
The bread from the nose is more prevalent in the taste, the bitter ness is here as well with a little bit of a burnt sugar taste. A little bit of a pine taste comes though in the finish.
Medium body with moderate carbonation, leaves a sticky feeling in the mouth and has a very long finish.
This has been a favorite of mine for a while, I'm surprised I never reviewed it before today. One of the most drinkable beers there is in my opinion.
