Gorgeous 2 finger cream head that is thick and foamy. Beautiful sunset amber clear enough to see through. Sheets of lacing.
Caramel malts blend with grassy floral hops to promise a tasty refreshing beer.
The taste is a step down from that wonderful preview by the appearance and smell. Coppery malts hit first and then a slow lemony zing which is quickly forgotten as the finish takes over. A sort of metallic, roasted floral flavor. As it warms, the hops proceed to dominate the endnote. They are not overwhelming, but are a bit too predominant for my personal tastes.
The body of this beer is indeed a smooth malty seductress. Lightly carbonated throughout with a snappy finish.
Honestly I could confuse this with a pale ale what with the American hops leading the show. Easy to drink but not what i was hoping for when I grabbed a lager. Perhaps with a different mindset this would have been more impressive to me.

Had on draft during the Celtics game at the TD Garden.
Appearance: A one finger head was poured that reduced to a thin layer. It is a color color with good clarity and vision of bubbles coming up through the glass. Spotty lacing down the glass ad the beer was drank.
Smell: Slight toasted and caramel malts with some lager yeast and citrusy hops.
Taste: Same as above. Balanced and simple.
Mouthfeel: Smooth, a little bitterness, light bodied, medium carbonation, and a little chewy.
Overall: A good Vienna lager. Not the best, not the worst, but better than average. Enjoyable, simple, and easy to drink.

12 ounce bottle poured into a pint glass - drank cold from the refrigerator.
A - Poured a light copper color with a good thick long lasting head as well as significant lacing.
S - A nice combination of citrusy hops and malt sweetness.
T - Started with the citrusy hops and ended with a nice sweet malt finish.
M - Good body and carbonation level.
O - A really refreshing lager that could be a great session beer.
