Had on tap.
Arrived a hazy dark gold topped by a thick white head with amazing retention and great lacing.
Aroma has a nearly perfect balance between hops and malt. Tons of tropical citrus, pineapple and mango along with a light bready malt that reminded me of some pilsners. Just a huge, huge aroma.
This great aroma carries over into the flavor. Tons of citrus once again: mango, orange, and pineapple. There is a definite tropical characteristic to this. The malt is quite prominent as well but it is light and bready, not much caramel in this at all. Bitterness is moderate with a full, smooth mouthfeel. A slight touch of alcohol towards the finish.
Overall, a perfect example of what a fresh IIPA can be. Perfect balance of malt and hop with a full, but not sweet or sticky, mouthfeel. Really wish I could get this on a regular basis.

pretty massive head on an easy pour, tons of wilding through the environs of the glass, bright golden straw color and lots of clarity, the head has good staying power and the lacing is also very good, a nice looking beer
definite musty-earthy hops, slight mango/citrus underneath, bready sweet malts hold this up, a well balanced mongrel, I personally would prefer a bit more kick from the hops in the aroma
fairly weighty in the mouth, very hefty and syrupy, more sweetness than bitter here, there is a mere twinge of bitterness that does linger in the background for some time which makes this drinkable considering the sweetness level, however it is definitely more of a malt peep show here (and I am out of quarters), this is a very smooth brew, the carbonation almost reminds me of german wheat beers for some reason, it drinks very light but yet the body is so deceptive, it also certainly packs a nice punch
a tasty brew, not the love of my life but I wouldn't kick it out of bed, well crafted but a little lax in the hop department for my personal tastes
