Orange/gold colour with a hint of haze and a thin cap of eggshell foam that reduced quickly to a collar. Sweet and fruity aroma, grapefruit and orange, slightly tropical, caramel. Fruity sweetness dominates the flavour, moderate bitterness with a bit of warmth, oranges and tangerines, less grapefruit than in the aroma, mild biscuit and caramel. Medium to full bodied with moderate carbonation. A solid offering, more east coast than west coast in character.

A - Pours a clear amber with a one-finger white foamy head. Light sticky lacing.

S - Aromas of tropical fruits and floral hops.

T - Sweet malts and citrus upfront. The sweetness fades into purfumey/floral hops. The finish is crisp with an earl grey tea like taste.

M - Medium bodied with high carbonation. Crisp dry mouthfeel.

O - This is a decent DIPA. Nothing really stands out, but nothing is bad either. Very drinkable.

Pours a clear light copper with a half finger of head. The body is slightly heavier than the average DIPA, but it is a far cry from the brewer's claim of "decidedly robust."

The flavor profile is malt forward and slightly bitter. The finish is dry and bitter, but the hop presence is not on par with the best DIPAs out there. The alcohol presence lingers and becomes ever so slightly disruptive. This is surprising since the ABV is on the low end of the DIPA spectrum.
