Pours a thing white head with decent retention. Slightly cloudy, translucent coppery/orange-gold brew.

Sweet tropical fruit hops are forefront; floral notes, hint of soft citrus, honey, bit of resinous hops.

Very juicy and balanced flavor: drier, more resinous hops up forward, with a huge passionfruit and mango finish. Biscuit malts provide a solid backbone. Pepper and tobacco in there, as well as some earthy hops. Very dry and bitter aftertaste. Tons of different hop flavor going on.

Very lively feel, pretty drinkable, not particularly syrupy.

Overall this is a nice DIPA: hoppy, bitter, flavorful, pretty balanced, and drinkable. Worth trying, but not world-class.

Pours deep amber to copper with a thin lasting head. Lacing sticks.

The smell is very mild - soft citrus and earthy tones with a hint of caramel.

The taste is of juicy, tropical, earthy hop tones with a strong malt backbone. It has a dry, somewhat chalky finish. It has a mild juicy hop aftertaste. Alcohol is well-covered.

It isn't as creamy and full as I expect in the style, but it is smooth.

This is a well-balanced DIPA with noticeable English character.

Brooklyn Blast is a fantastic and unique DIPA. It's got a huge tropical fruit and citrus blast with a slightly grainy caramel malt base that reminds me of an APA. It's actually rather unique for the style because of the different malt base, but the huge hop hit won't let anyone down. A fantastic beer.
