Bought a 12 pack of Brooklyn Summer Ale from Beers of the World for $ 13.99 on 7/27/13.
poured into a nonic, served cold.
appearance: lemon yellow with a 2 finger linen white head, visible carbonation. respectable lacing.
aroma: a fruit salad of peaches, apricots, lemons and a little grapefruit.
mouthfeel: solid, tingly with carbonation.
taste: bready malt starts things off followed by a fruitiness and then a subtle citric tartness.
notes: this is a nice little Summer sessioner that tastes great right out of the can.

Reviewed based on tasting notes from a blind pale ale tasting.
12 oz. bottle inside a paper bag poured into a plastic tasting cup.
A- Dark gold to light amber in color.
S- Light malts, grassy hops with a hint of lemon.
T- Similar to bouquet. Also had some off, adjunct flavors. Not great.
M- Light for the style.
O- I was surprised this ended up being Brooklyn Summer Ale. I thought it would fare better. I won't be looking for this one next summer.
