I'll preface this by saying that I usually only drink Belgians on rare occasions.
This one tastes like some kind of a combination of a saison (which may be my favorite Belgian style, whether it began in France or not) and a dubbel.
You can taste the extra sugar combined with the yeast immediately. It pours into the glass with a huge white head, in my case, and it perfectly clear and yellow. Smells like yeast, and has a deep smell of fruit, subtle pineapple and banana. When you taste it, I immediately get the saison/dubble combination, and I actually found this much easier to drink than the average dubble or tripel, although, I probably wouldn't buy more than one of these to drink. It goes down rather smooth, with the taste of candy (fermented caramel flavors if there were such a candy), and the hops are subtle, but you would know the difference if there were none.
More than a whole bottle would be difficult to consume, but I'd recommend it to Belgian fans and non-fans, just to experience it, especially since it's easier to find around the US than other Belgians (I guess because it's not an import).
I definitely think that this gives you the taste of Belgium with a much easier drink than some. A good stepping stone into the other import brews.

A: Foggy golden with tons of fine carbonation, 3 fingers of light yellow tinged white head. Good retention.
S: Sweet and caramel like, light fruity and floral qualities. Daisies, and cantelope.
T: Belgian yeast, light lemon tartness, la fair amount of sweetness, sight bitterness on the finish. Really hides the alcohol, and is much like a white wine in dryness. Sharp cheddar like quality.
M: A lot of fine bubbled carbonation, a little thickness to the body, but it comes across as light, airy and dry. Really well done.
O: An excellent brew. Great mouth feel, very mellow in taste, definitely a Belgian style beer. Bought in Boca Raton, drank on Deerfield Beach, July 15, 2014.
